“A great hotel if you do not need a room with a view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2011

This hotel is modern and very well run. It is staffed by young people who speak English very well. They are also polite and friendly. There is plenty of food at breakfast. Not everything is perfect, but when you can see that the hotel is so well managed, it seems ungrateful to complain.

The hotel is also reasonably well located, in between two tube stations. There are also buses passing the hotel. Many of the famous sights are within walking distance.

This is a good choice for business travellers and holiday makers. It is surprisingly quiet and fellow guests are well mannered.

It's only fault is that most rooms have no views at all. Budapest is an incredibly beautiful city and if you are there for honeymoon or a romantic holiday, then you should perhaps consider one of the hotels with a breathtaking view of the castle across the Danube.

I went to Budapest for 3 days in November 2010. So I checked some reviews for some hotels there and finally decided to go to The Eurostars hotel ! It was just 4 or 5 months old! We enjoyed the service, the design, the room was very clean with a huge bed ! and the breakfast was awesome !!!!! In addition, the Hotel was ideally located to visit Budapest ! A perfect 4 stars hotel. Thanks !

We stayed at the Eurostars Budapest Center for 8 days in August (2011). I highly recommend it. The hotel is modern, clean and in a great location. The staff was pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The rooms had wood floors (something I like) and were clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was typical (my only complaint, if you can call it that, was that the scrambled eggs were runny, but this seems true throughout Europe) and of good quality. The Tapas Bar downstairs (Bubbles) has a great bartender and some good food. Really, you can't go wrong here. Two thumbs up.

Located in downtown, near the white bridge, it is comfortable, clean and modern - not those old usual hotels of Europe. Easy to go anywhere and plus, ask the reception for a free map of the city.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff, nice breakfast but tiny rooms (at least th one I got). Very nicely located close to everything and the metro station is not far from the hotel.

Centrally located hotel 5mins walk from the Great Synagogue, 10mins from Elisabeth Bridge, <20mins walk to St Peter's Basilica. Metro stations, bus and tram stops nearby for trips further afield. Friendly service and good facilities - extra large double bed, efficient a/c and minbar, very clean room. Stayed from Tuesday until Saturday and rates were very good value.

Centrally situated, within easy reach of the River Danube and several tourist attractions. No rooms with a view (other than nearby rooftops from Floor 9) This is a modern business hotel with large comfortable rooms. Two small lifts for the 9 Floors - Big problem if a coach party arrives.
Breakfast fine - Plan to dine out for other meals - several reasonably priced eateries close by.
