“Great breakfast buffet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

Only dined at Peppers for breakfast during my stay at the Marriott, but my impression was very favorable. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere about it, service was as good as one would expect and on top of that the kitchen was connected by CCTV to the TVs inside the hotel rooms 24-7! This created an impression of quality and cleanliness.

Breathtaking view, trendy interior design, nice food but strange waiters. Fire the staff, hire new ones, and this will be a superb resto.

“Fine dining at a good price”

Really great place to eat and enjoy the wonderful views of the Danube. Good selection and range of dishes and a varied selection of wines and cocktails.

“Best bunch in Budapest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

As an expat here, I've tried several brunches in the 5 star hotels in Budapest and the one at Peppers is by far the best. The quality and selection of food on offer is beyond outstanding and the a la carte choices are always a great addition too. The service is generally excellent too (although be aware that if you are a larger table, standards start slipping, particularly if you are wanting to have more than a couple of glasses of champagne at celebrations). All round great value for money. If you come in the summer it's worth booking a table outside on the terrace for great Danube views too.

“Great Food and We Loved our Waiter”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

It was so late one night that we resigned ourselves to the hotel restaurant. In general, I go out of my way to not eat at a hotel restaurant. I believe the food and menu are altered for the clientele's nationality and it usually isn't that good.
However, we loved Peppers. The mushroom goulash soup was perfect on a cold November evening. We also had chicken paprika. The chicken was a little dry.
The best part was our waiter, Akos. We drank a lot of wine that night and he was so much fun and had so many recommendations and knowledge about the wine. We learned a lot about Tokaj, Bikever, and Hungary's various wine regions that evening.
