“Great tour !!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

I was fortunate enough to be the only person on this tour, Sunday January 6th. All at the shop/meeting point were warm and friendly including my guide, Peter, who was a native, lived in the city and was obviously a very proud resident.
The three hour tour went very quickly and there was never a dull/quiet moment. Peter is incredibly knowledgeable about Budapest and histroy in general and was great company.
The sights visited (Opera House, Metro, Heroes' Square, City Park, Liberty Square, Chain Bridge & Castle Hill) were by no means an exhaustive "to do list" but flowed well and gave a very good general experience of one of my now favourite cities.

Would recommend this tour to everyone. Just be mindful that there's a fair bit of walking involved so maybe not for everyone, but that was the only downside I could see.

Brilliant tour, Brilliant guide, Brilliant city !!!!!

“Fantastic Segway tour!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

We had a great time on a segway tour with our friendly, fun and knowledgable guide Brigit. There were just the two of us on a bright morning tour, we had a training session on the segway (a bit scary to start with but very easily learned and felt confident after about 10mins). We then set off exploring the sights of Pest. Brigit told us all about the sights we went to and it was very informative.

Being on the segway obviously meant that we didn't go into any of the places we visited which was perfect for us but it would be best to do this tour at the beginning of your stay and then you can go back to the places you want to spend more time in. The shop itself was excellent, all the staff v v friendly and they helped us with buying tickets for the Szechenyi thermal baths to avoid having to queue.

Thank you!!

“Great Pest tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

My girlfriend and I have been backpacking europe for 2 weeks and have found that walking tours of cities are very useful in understanding cities histories.
Budapest is not the exception, so when you go to Budapest you must get a walking tour to understand all the Buda and Pest cities history and why now they have merged into one. We had Peter as our tour guide. We had the Pest tour which is the one in city center around the opera, the parlament and St. Stephen's Chatedral and some other places. These 3 buildings are Peter's "must visit" in budapest. You can be part of this tour using the budapest card, however for the Buda side the citycard won't work with this company (there is another one). It was a 2 1/2 walk with plenty of information about the Pest side and all its history. At the end of the tour Peter gave us a small taste of an hungarian cinnamon swirl bread which was very delicious.

“Great tour , excellent guide and value for money .”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

My boyfriend and I did the 2 hour Winter Segway tour on the 2nd January. It was absolutely freezing ! But the tour was great , the first 30 minutes were spent training 1 at a time to get used to the Segway and gain confidence going up kerbs etc. After this we went to theOpera House ,synagogue ,VarosmartySquare , the Danube , Four Seasons hotel , the parliament and St Stephens Basicala. Our guide ,Julie , was excellent and made us all feel at ease . She gave us a lot of information about the buildings and also gave a valuable insight into the history of Budapest . After the tour she kindly showed us the location of certain sights on the map and provided us with lots of local tips . We loved doing this tour and don't be nervous of trying a Segway , it is very easy to pick up and the guides are very patient and understanding . Try it out !

“A Personalized Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

My wife and I decided to begin a weekend in Budapest with a walking tour to get our bearings. We had Anita as our guide and it happened that we were the only visitors on a cold bright morning. The three and a half hours were an excellent introduction to the city and its people's ways. Our guide was very well informed about the history and development of Hungary and its capital city and we greatly appreciated her friendly introduction. While on the walk we were able to book tickets to a magic performance of Mozart's Requiem Mass at St Stephen's Cathedral which was one of the other highlights of our time in Budapesst. Thank you Anita, keep up the good work, you are so good at what you do. Pat and Deirdre.
