“An excellent value hotel in Budapest”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

The hotel is modern and well-maintained and has a pleasant themed decor. The staff were attentive, and the buffet breakfast was ample and of good quality. It is in a good location, well served by public transport as well as being within walking distance of many attractions. It offered good value and we shall choose to go there again.

I never understand why people do not speak with reception if they have a problem instead of writing on review sites - how can the hotel put things right if you don't tell them and give them a change, we had a small problem and within 30 mins. all was good - excellent service thank you.
We stayed for 4 nights, had a nice warm welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble for the reception staff, always there to help. We arranged with the hotel for a taxi transfer from the airport, the taxi was waiting for us, again good service. Our rooms were nice, clean and comfortable, there was a safe and the advantage of a kettle both at no extra cost. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection.
We will definitely visit this hotel again later in the year and have already recommended to our family and friends. Thank you to all the staff Mike, Ron, Pat & Diane from England.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. We very enjoyed this stay. This hotel is 10 minutes by walk from Parlament and also 10 minutes from Andrassy street. Breakfast was very good. I recommend it.
We also visited termal spa near Heroes square which I recomment it as well. Nice Budapest. We will definitely go back soon :-)

I' ve never ever met such a bad quality 4 star hotel. Even though I work in a tourism for almost 8 years and visited many FAM trips (where different hotels were shown to us- travel agents) , I' ve never saw such a low quality 4 star hotel, I'd give it 3 stars, not more! Our room was dirty, towels- grey, and old, looked like someone has bitten them for quite a long time. It is the worst 4 star hotel I've met for last 8 years of my traveling!!!!! So will not recommend it to anyone!

On arrival at this hotel it looked great from the outside and this continued into the reception area we we're given a first floor room overlooking the street it was a little loud to start but if you walk around Budapest as we did you will soon be asleep the room was clean and tidy but there was only earl grey or fruit tea and no milk we always take our own tea bags and there is a spar shop two min walk for milk which we put in the mini bar to keep fresh everywhere is only 10 mins from here parliament west end shopping center the Danube also the metro to get your tram tickets from whilst your here try the hungarikum restaraunt again only 10 min walk away traditional Hungarian food and very helpfull staff overall a great hotel in a great location

My friend and I stayed here for two nights in January. The location is good, it's close to the metro and only a short walk from the Parliament.

The room was nice & clean and had an acceptable size, but if you need a soft and comfy bed this isn't the hotel for you... The towels looked like they had been attacked by an animal, but they fulfilled their function.

Breakfast was good, but basic.

All in all a nice hotel, I wouldn't mind staying here again :-)

We've just returned from a fantastic two night stay in this wonderful city. Everything went like clockwork, including the use of public transport to get to the hotel, which despite some complaints was very easy!
I must say that this hotel excelled in every respect. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The public areas were stylish and clean and the room itself was perfectly sized with enough storage and a good sized bathroom. Although it was warm in the room, it was easy to adjust the air con so I don't understand some of the other comments about this. Also, who complains about what TV channels are available and why there aren't more sachets of tea/coffee - you're on holiday so get a life!!!
The breakfast was very good, a wide selection of meat, cheeses, vegetables, eggs and cereals etc, with plentiful choices of hot and cold drinks. Again, the comments about bad coffee is unfair as the latte was very nice.
We were able to leave our luggage on the last day free of charge while we enjoyed further sightseeing and a visit to the Rudas Baths.
The hotel is ideally situated for so many of the city's attractions and public transport links etc.
For what we paid this was excellent value and comes highly recommended. Enjoy!!!
