“Great hotel, greta staff, gorgeous lobby”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2012

we stayed here for 3 nights on the strength of trip advisor reviews and were not disappointed. We upgraded to the junior suite and had a 5th floor room with 3 windows all looking out onto the church opposite. Breakfast was great, good selection of hot and cold items and nice environment to eat in. no tea or coffee in the room but available in the lobby till 5pm. did feel a bit of a walk to bars / restaurant areas, we found raday st down from Kalvin square that had lots of bars and restaurants on, under a 10 minute walk from the hotel and would recommend going there in the evening.

Room Tip: we had room 508 which was on the corner so 3 windows overlooking the church

Very impressed with the quality of finish, architecture and design. This is a great contemporary styled hotel contrasted with the traditional facade. It is very clean, well kept and friendly. Free Wi-Fi meant keeping on top of my business was easy whilst away. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice to cater for all tastes and nationalities. Extremely comfortable stay, would highly recommend.

A decent hotel, no major faults. However, it doesn't live up to the hype created here on tripadvisor. A perfectly adequate hotel.

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights last weekend, and were very impressed!

This boutique style hotel has been beautifully decorated throughout. The staff are charming and extremely helpful.
ideally situated, only a short walk to shopping areas and restaurants.
Delicious breakfast.
All in all outstanding value for money. i would happily return.

Excellent hotel. Great rooms. Good breakfast. Has a simple gym but enough for a workout. Very helpful staff. Buy your metro / bus tickets at reception. Some good bars and restaurants within 3 minutes walk. Its a bit of a walk to the train station or bus stops to get to the main attractions but the walk is vsr pleasant.

Just returned from the hotel yesterday. From the moment we arrived we were met with faultless customer service and pleaseant staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they went the extra mile with everything for us. Rooms and decor were beautiful and stylish and breakfast fresh and appetising. Complimentary bar service for hot drinks and mineral water durening the day was a lovely touch. As we left the hotel the manger even thanked us for staying at his hotel in the kind if way that felt genuine and unrehearsed. It is not very often i write reviews, if ever. I just felt totally compelled on this occasion as I have not experienced such faultless customer service and attention to detail many times, again, if ever. Thank you for everything.

Ryan Kerr

Room Tip: We had the corner suite with breakfast table, it had a lovely view of the church

This hotel is lovely, it is beautifully decorated and well looked after.

Positives:
Really easy to get around Budapest from - the tram is a 2 minute walk away and from there you can navigate to most places really easily.
The breakfast is lovely (however we stayed here 7 nights and after 7 breakfasts we did get a bit bored).
Beautiful rooms, good service (the staff would help with any queries).
Made good use of the free computers/internets to research our plans for the day.
The free drinks and snacks until 5pm are a nice bonus (we liked the chocolate milk alot).

Negatives:
We asked the hotel to recommend a restaurant on our 1st night as we arrived in the evening, it wasnt a good recommendation. It did ruin our 1st night a bit.
Beds were really hard, it hurt my husband's back alot.

I think that overall the hotel offers very good value for money and I do recommend it, the staff were friendly and the extras that are provided are very good. Also, the Pina Coladas that you can get in the bar in the evening were very nice.
