Liked the free WIFI, modern bathroom and space offered. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was soso as was lunch. Not bad, but not extraordinary for a 4 star hotel either. Did not like the dark furniture or set-up of the room. Would not hire this interior decorator ever.

An extremely friendly and helpful reception staff, big rooms and we slept very good for 7 nights in very comfortable beds in a guiet neighborhood. 0,8 km to the Metro and the bus just around the corner. Good healthy breakfast and nice to be able to stay in contact with home trough the wi-fi connection.

Room Tip: We had room No 506 situated on the 5th floor with a great terrace, very quiet and good to be able to...

Fantastically well presented hotel, prime location and a stones throw from Batthyany ter metro with direct links into the city centre. This hotel is 100 yards from one of the worlds most stunning views, Budapest's parliament building which is spectacularly lit at night and for this view at home people would pay millions for a location such as this, although you cant see it from the hotel its only a matter of walking a couple of minutes and streets to soak up this jaw dropping site, TRULY STUNNING!!!
Staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and incredibly diligent in everything they did.
Wonderfully clean and modern from top to bottom.
We left The Hotel Gloria which was an absolute cesspit that boasted 4 Stars. needless to say we left that hotel after one night and opted for the Hotel Regnum that justified every star awarded.

Thank you to all staff front of house and all those behind the scenes at the Regnum for a memorable stay and hope to return soon, A++++++

Room Tip: The superior rooms are worth every penny and the food is wonderful!!!

A very nice and friendly hotel, a bit less central but the 5 to 10 minutes walk to the public transport stations is a nice one along the danube, in a quiet and safe neighborhood.
The city centre is 2 or 3 metro or tram stops away.
The rooms are relatively big, modern and clean, and so are the bathrooms. Good wi-fi everywhere. Free drinks in the mini-bar. Good, big beds. Decent breakfast, though nothing special.
The hotel staff is friendly and helpful.
Overall a very good base camp for visiting the city. Maybe just not optimal if you're there for shopping, or not well organized, and tend to go back and forth between from the city center and the hotel multiple times a day

This hotel was brilliant; a welcome sight at the end of a tiring day. The rooms were very clean and quiet, and had large bathrooms. We had a suite room. This had ample space, with a huge living area, large bathroom and a separate toilet. The master bedroom had very comfortable beds too. The reception staff were extremely helpful both during the booking process as well as helping us with taxis, maps, advising etc. The breakfast was good, with all the usual things on offer- breads, cereal, eggs, sausage, bacon and fruit etc. The location of the hotel did however mean public transport or walking was needed to get to the prime sight-seeing areas (which are mainly on the 'pest' side), which was slightly tiring on some days. I would highly recommend this spotless, great value hotel on your stay.

Room Tip: corner suites are large, sunny and have balconies (not necessarily good ones though!)

We stayed at the Regnum Residence for a three-day trip in late December 2012 and had a splendid time there.

The reception staff was very friendly and helpful; the rooms were clean; the breakfast was - in our opinion - good (with baked and scrambled eggs, sausages, fruits, fresh bread, croissants etc.); the bed was very nice, never slept so well in a hotel bed!

The location is perfect for exploring the city, due to the vicinity of a metro station and bus stops. With a 24h public transportation card you can basically get anywhere.

Another pro of the location is, that the Regnum Residence is located directly next to the Kiraly Bath, which is an authentic bathing experience for affordable prices, that has retained its 15th century character.

We had a very nice stay at the Regnum Residence and can warmly recommend it to anyone.
