“Family friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2012

We stayed with two young children for three nights and would stay here again. We booked a family room which had a separate bedroom and a sofa bed made up in the living room, along with a crib which I had ordered. It was a good-sized room and modern. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. It is in a quiet area but the Metro is only about a 10 minute walk away and you get great views of Parliament on the walk. We took the Metro to the Christmas Market and it was only two stops away. There was lots to choose from for breakfast and the staff were nice and helpful with the children. Would definitely recommend for families.

We stayed for 8 days, and we booked a suite. The room was perfect! It was big and practical. Staff was really polite and helpful. Breakfast was great!!! Only bad thing what I can say, is that the cleaning staff didn't do their job the way I'm use to. Air was little bit dusty and they didn't clean the tables. I think the staff would have done something about it if we would have said something, but it didn't bother us that much. I would recommend this hotel to anybody!

Room Tip: Suite, definately!

Hotel is clean and modern and most importantly the staff are friendly and eager to help where they can. I was upgraded to a suite which made the world of a difference as I had meetings with people and the extra space turned out to be great.

We stayed 4 nights and were upgraded to a suit. The accommidation was very good. The breakfast was very average and if breakfast was not included I wouldn't bother having it. The reception staff were very friendly. The breakfast resturant staff seemed to be more interested in talking to other staff there enuring the food looked good and fresh. Also some itms ran out before 8 am.

I was attending a conference in Buda and I opted for this hotel because it was newly built, modern, placed in a quiet district yet well connected by public transport. The price was modest and I really did not expect much. However, the hotel was a pleasant surprise: the room was large and with new, clean, and fancy furniture, there was nothing forgotten in bathroom and, as rather unusual these days, virtually everything was working.

When booking, I knew about a promise of free refreshments in the room bar. It was nothing special, a coke and mineral water, but it was nice to know that there were no additional expenses for cold drinks. Much more I was pleasantly surprised for getting a kettle and equipment for self-making tee/coffee.

Another thing I was pleased for was blazingly fast in-room Internet. Perhaps it was because I was staying in hotel in "dead season" (it was the last week of November), but I felt comfortable almost as in office. I was able to download Gigabytes in dozen of minutes.

The hotel is only one block from the bank of the Danube river but lacks a view to it. Thus, I would recommend the hotel to everybody coming in Budapest for business and who is willing to sacrifice a romantic view for comfort.

A place I would definitely reccomend for people visiting Budapest. Away from the hustle and bustle and just a short walk away from public transport. Friendly staff and excellent accomodations. Lovely breakfast with variety of products.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel on a Groupon deal.
We had a suite - living room, bedroom and bathroom. Suite was very nicely furnished, extremely spacious, comfortable and spotless.

Location is great for exploring Budapest.

I would stay here again.
