We visited this restaurant after doing a trip advisor search on restaurants close to where we were staying. We went mid-afternoon and were the only people in there. This is a good restaurant if you want to sample some traditional Hungarian dishes but not pay over the odds. We chose a meal off the 'specials' board which consisted of soup and a main meal for 990 forints each (which is about £4) we had two drinks a glass of wine and a shot of palinka (a Hungarian spirit) and a dessert of two pancakes. Altogether the bill came to 3965 forints. The food was nice although the main with fries and pork wasn't anything special..the soup starter was lovely. The decor is basic but it was all very clean and the waiter was very attentive if a little bit too much! I would recommend this place more for lunch than dinner.
