“What a Great Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

Booked this hotel for 13 guys - yes 13 - many of whom travel regualarly. All the guys were very positive about their time in the hotel - amazing! As cyclists it was perfectly placed for us. Dedicated urban cycle track outside the door; cogwheel railway to the hills a few metres up the road and lots of good value bars and restos locally. This 4star hotel is above expectations - beautifully presented, cool rooms, great breakfast in the resto. Most importantly the staff are very professional without being distant. We will be back!

A really nice hotel just a walk avay from metro. Value for money is good and 4 stars is earned! Garden side room is quiet and both sauna and pool is nice at top floor. Ask for bath jacket from reception. If help needed the staff is nice. Different size safety boxes at first floor for free!

We had a very pleasant city-break in Budapest last December, and hotel Belvedere had a big contribution. The hotel itself was above our expectations, very clean, with refurbished and very cozy rooms. At first we had a room facing the front street but it was very noisy with the trams and all the traffic, so the next day we asked for a room facing the garden, and it was a lot better. The room was bigger and also had a balcony. Furthermore, the spa located on the last floor offers a unique view of Budapest. It's so amazing to relax in the evening up there, after a long day. Breakfast is nice, although it's the same food every day, there are quite a lot of things to choose from. The hotel is very close to metro and bus/tram stations, only a couple of minutes away. All in all, I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip to Budapest.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the garden are a lot better (they are bigger and more quiet), so ask for one of those...

Stayed in this hotel in November 2012. Found the hotel (with a little direction from locals) close to metro stop (very handy) located in the quiet district of the buda side. Got to hotel received key straight away, was shocked by room as it exceeded our expections. Modern decor beautifully finished. Very clean and spacious.

Breakfast was good, great variety and always fresh.
Hotel staff very friendly and extremely helpful, drew on maps to assist us with our stay. Pool area clean and tidy. Absolute Gem, would recommend. 4 star hotel with 5 star qualities.

A 4 star hotel, with a Huge 5 star Service towards the Customer.
Staff was so friendly and helpful .. made you feel like "at home" !!
Organized for a taxi driver to wait for us 1 o'clock in morning at the airport ..
Arranged for a room with balcony, myself being a smoker.
Even assisted me in finding a store in the area, selling used camera bodies,
as the one I had suddenly "died" .. in the middle of our vacations.
Accurate transportation tips related to sightseeing.
Wi-Fi signal reception is rather low inside the room, which could be a bit better, while in the lobby area is OK.
Definitely, my 1st choice Hotel next time I'm back in town ..

This hotel was excellent. Really nice modern rooms and always clean. The roof terrace was lovely to sit out in the sun. The swimming pool is tiny but nice to relax in while looking over the city.

Breakfast selection was good. Lots of breads, meats, cheese, fruit, etc. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It's a bit further out of the centre than most hotels but I quite liked that. It's more like the 'real' Budapest and you get much better value for money as prices aren't hiked up like they are in the tourist spots. The bus stop and tram stop is a couple of minutes walk down the road.

stayed for 3 nights. lovely clean hotel very helpful friendly staff. pity no bar as such only small resturant that closes early. also no tea or coffee in the rooms. its on the bud side so you need to use the metro to go 2 pest side which is more for tourists. for what we paid good value hotel. look for rear room if noise a prob as its on a main road.
