The hotel is in a great location. Plenty of bars and restaurants around. In fact there are three right opposite. Easy access to all the transportation - metro, trams and buses that you might need and within walking distance of most things. We didn't use any transportation in fact - we walked everywhere! The staff were polite, efficient at all times and there was always someone on the desk to help no matter what the time of day or night. The room was small yes,but perfectly equipped with everything you need. It was spotlessly clean, the maid came each day and made the beds and tidied. The decor in the room was bright and modern. Altho small there was plenty of cupboard and drawer space. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great. The other areas of the hotel include a small bar in the lobby which is open until 10pm and a complimentary drink was available there. The prices there were more than we paid in bars and restaurants, but isn't that normal the world over in a hotel bar? It still was not expensive compared to U.K. prices tho!!.The morning breakfast was complimentary and was very good. Lots of different cold meats and cheeses and fruits. Plenty of types of bread and rolls, both sweet and savoury and the hot food was unusual but very tasty. Hungarian paprika potatoes, ratatouille, scrambled eggs were a little unusual for the British breakfast but we thought let's give it a go and it was delicious!! French toast was good too. Plenty of juices and the coffee machine produced very good coffee and you could ask for a cappuccino etc to be made for you if you wanted. On departure the checkout was quick and efficient and they called a taxi for us and took our bags out for us aswell.
Overall I thought it was excellent and would not hesitate to go back there. Really a great hotel for a weekend (or longer for that matter).
