“Perfect holiday!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2012

The hotel is situated at an ideal location - you can visit all the sights around just on foot! You can have easy access to various means of transport,too..you can catch the metro or the tram just a couple of corners away. It is clean, comfortable, cosy and beautifully decorated..The staff is friendly and helpful..the price was reasonable (we had booked the room a few months before). Rich breakfast buffet though the room that is served is small and if crowded you may have to wait for a table to be free.
Advice: You had better exchange money in the city and not the airport because the rates are higher. There are plenty of places where you can do that and lots of them are in the neighbourhood. Furthemore, don't miss to visit the Central Market Hall (tram station: Fovam ter) -you can get souvenirs at a much lower price.
Very pleasant stay and hope to come back!!!

Very central yet quiet (in the inward facing rooms), Beds disappointingly hard and pillows dreadful ----lumps of chopped up foam! However, room is nice and clean and modern but TV has only one English speaking channel---CNN. All other channels seem to be dubbed into Hungarian, not very useful for most foreign visitors.
Breakfast OK but often runs out of things and you often have to wait for a place.
Staff are very good English speakers and very helpful-------even if the information provided is a bit out of date! The evening receptionist gave us information on how to get to and opening hours etc of the Pesterzsebet Salt Baths. But when we actually found them they had been closed for 2 years!!!! Never mind, there are lots of other baths to experience apart from the Gellert and Szechenyi which are very over publicised now, if you're interested.

Room Tip: The hotel is on a busy street so inward facing rooms are quiet.

This is a perfect base for exploring Budapest. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The only slight issue that I had was that on the second night I was moved to a room that was very close to the lift and it was a little bit noisy (the hotel was almost full). The breakfast was good but the room was very crowded and some latecomers had to wait.

I would recommend this hotel its good value, is small enough to have a local boutique hotel feel and large enough to provide all necessary services.

The hotel's location is really nice, in the shopping area. Overall, the service was not bad, we have faced some problems but, Zoltan [--] the Sales Manager of the hotel solved it all and offerred outstanding assistance.

Cheers!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the street are more comfortable. Try the AC before emptying your luggage, it's quit...

A very comfortable hotel in a good location. Staff in all areas were pleasant and helpful, the 2 ladies supervising the breakfast room were very welcoming in the morning and made sure there was plenty of food available all through breakfast time. All areas of the hotel were very clean, and rooms and bathrooms are a good size. A geat value hotel in a good location.
