“Reasonably good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

Quite a cosy little place - bustling with locals - food looked pretty good - but we certainly weren't blown away by it - maybe as we are not accustomed to good Hungarian food - goulash was decent without being outstanding!

“Perhaps the best Hungarian food in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2013

Tucked away on a street with the Hungarian name for Bratislava, the restaurant comes across as a tad Bavarian, but serves honest Hungarian fare at very reasonable prices.
More so, service is good and, most importantly, the food is superb. Highly recommended.

“Great food, good prices and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2013 via mobile

We actually ate here twice as the food, service and atmosphere was so good. No music, so only the sounds of the chatter as this restaurant was very popular, with tourists and locals alike. The food was great, I recommend the grilled vegetables and flambé pancake. Have vegetarian options (mostly cheese pasta). Wine also good. Service excellent, and they have an English menu, even though it isn't outside. Yu'll know it from the checkered tablecloths visible through the window, its corner location, and the popularity of it.

“Lovely typical place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

I choose this place looking for a restaurant that wasn't a tourist trap where I could eat the typical Goulash. Being a bit outside the most touristic paths, it was indeed frequented by many locals. The beef Goulash I ordered seemed to be prepared in the best Hungarian way and it tasted surely good, I got a big portion that was more than enough for a pleasant lunch. I just added a piece of a delicious cake. The atmosphere was relaxed, nothing too formal, as if you were at home. I sat outside, on a nice patio under the trees, which was perfect for the summer heat. The service was quick and attentive, the prices cheaper than in many restaurants of the centre. In my opinion, this restaurant is a perfect choice if you want try something typical in a friendly place. Recommended!
