I originally booked this place for Room 16 their family apartment. It seemed really nice online, but I never actually went in. Prior to my arrival they told me they were switching me to Room 13 their "other" family apartment. In total we were four adults and one small child. I don't know what Room 16 is like, but I would not recommend more than two adults stay in "Family Apartment 13," It is one (very hot) bedroom in the attic with one (extremely hot) bathroom in the attic and the second bedroom is a closet with a bed shoved in. Although it has one small air conditioner for the whole place, it by far did NOT do the job. And the low sloped ceiling of the attic felt cramped. I also did not enjoy the 93 steps it took to get to our room each time (no elevator). Neither did the grandmother who was with us.
We immediately told the nighttime desk attendant of our unhappiness, but he said he wasn't a manager and couldn't do anything. I asked if we could just leave and visit the hotel across the plaza (which was awesome, I went inside) and he said that we'd have to pay for our week's stay because of their strong no-cancellation policy. So we stayed in the hot attic and got very little sleep.
The next day the manager was in and she was VERY nice, however she still wouldn't let us just check out and said that all the other hotel's rooms were full. She put half of our party up in the nice hotel across the street, but left our family of three in the hot box.
Then the three of us checked out (because our stay was over) and the remaining two adults were shifted into a room near the bottom floor. Not the best solution and they said their room was, "OK."
Oh, the breakfast was good, and there is a pretty garden terrace that we discovered our last day. It would have been nice if we had been told of it at check in. It was a nice escape from our sauna room.
Oh and you have to park MANY streets away from the hotel, there's no parking. You can't even drop your bags off in front.
