The buildings are part of student accommodation, so be prepared for a boarding school vibe when you arrive at Hostel Tabor. You can interpret this in either a positive or negative way - the rooms are spacious and the facilities are up to scratch but at the same time the Hostel feels a bit soulless.
The location is possibly its strongest point - Tabor is close to the bus/railway station and the city centre. It's nice to arrive in a new city and find your accommodation within ten minutes. The staff are helpful and will show you how to get to whatever exactly it is that you're looking for.
If there's one negative that I feel must be mentioned, it relates to the keys. Every time you exit the hostel, you have to leave your key into the reception. Now, I understand that this could well come from pressure from the people who run the student accommodation outside of the summer, but it's quite frustrating to have to queue up every time you leave/enter the building. I normally object to deposits on keys but in this instance it seems like a better option than the system they have in place.
