“A tour with a twist!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

Fantastic! We had a very funny and knowledgeable tour guide by the name of Neja who recounted various tales of the major attractions in the Old Town. How many of them are 100% historically accurate I'm not sure but it was very entertaining nevertheless and I would highly recommend you check it out!

“Good introduction”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

For a town like Ljubljana, this is one of the best ways to see it and understand the Slovenian history. The tour does not cover a large area (you do not get up north as Tivoli) but you do see the main sights (Dragon bridge etc). We had Janic, an art historian, running our tour and it was rather interesting because of his history. Do take the time to join this tour.

“Excellent - don't miss this”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

The Free Tour (starting from the Pink Church near the triple bridge) is just one of the fantastic delights of this wonderful city.
Our guide was knowledgeable, clear and humorous and took us on a two-and-a-quarter-hour walk around the main part of the city. Lots of context and we were able to soak up the atmosphere and pick up lots on individual gems in the walks between sights.
Highly recommended.

“Great guide in Ljubljana!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

Thank you very much for the great tour Tine, our guide provided us in Ljubljana. Slovenia is so close to Hungary, for many years we were part of the same Austrian Empire - we have Slovenians living in Hungary and there are Hungarians living in Slovenia, still we know so little about each other.
I have learnt a lot about Ljubljana and Slovenia in those nearly 3 hours I spent in this group - it brought Slovenia and Ljubljana much closer to me. A country from where I have only known the ESC singers, Rebeka Dremelj and Omar Naber - it gives me a much wider picture now - including literature and art, Joze Plecnik and his architecture, stories about the dragon and the shoes hanging all over in Ljubljana, gastronomy and Slovenian lifestyle. Thank you - Hvala - Köszönöm.

“Great free tour, you will not be desapointed.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

I was 4 days in Ljubljana, and i did this free tour twice, the first with Janez and the other with Eva, both were great even if i had done the tour before. they teach a lot of thing and on the other days when i was walking around the city with other locals, i was telling them stories, that they didn't knew, it's a great way to understand better the city the culture and the country, the guides were really friendly and they ask all our question, they even toke us to the places we ask even if it was not part of the tour, they also tell a very personal opinion of the city so it's like you are walking with a friend, when i go back i will for sure do the tour again.

Thank you all, we are in touch and i hope we see us again.
