We stayed here for two nights just before Christmas. This pension turned out to be a great place; we had a very large triple room and private bath.
The pension sits above a restaurant on a quiet square, about a 5 minute walk from the river/old town. The location is wonderful and there are about 10 rooms with a very small central kitchen and free Internet area (two free computers for people staying at the pension.) The pension and kitchen are absolutely immaculate, we were were one of only a couple families staying here. Our room was just off the Internet/kitchen area, you may want to request a room at the end of the hall if it's a busy time, but the pension was very quiet in the winter. The owner went out of his way to be kind and helpful, the pension has been in his wife's family for generations (although they lost pocession of it during the years prior to independence.)
We had dinner in the restaurant one night and although the service was very attentive, the food was average-it could have been an off night. When we arrived at the pension, we had to wait for the owner and the waiter greeted us with fresh cake and made us feel very welcome.
Breakfast is available for an extra fee, or you can cut costs by bringing your own food and keeping it in the fridge in the kitchen area, we saw one couple do this. We ate breakfast two blocks away at a great little spot recommended by the owner--A Petite Cafe.
Tyr this pension, you won't be sorry!!!!
