You could hardly get a better location in Warsaw, sitting out in the Old Town Square as the autumn night draws in. The service is friendly and it promised very well, busy with people where other restaurants in the square were desperately trying to bark us in with boasts and offers (on their mostly rather overpriced menus.) Sadly the experience was a massive let down. First of all I ordered a pot of tea and got given a cup. Then our order was blatantly forgotten - we were waiting, foodless, for over half an hour. When it did come, everyone's potatoes - fries, and roast - were cold. We sent them back. Ten minutes later they came back and my fries were STILL cold. Sent back a second time. The "pickled chuck steak" (=marinaded?) was OK but by that time I had lost my appetite. So had everyone else. Thankfully, the prices aren't high, but it was just shoddy.
