“Lovely evening”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

Our daughter is living and working in Warsaw, and she took us to Papu when we visited. She had been there with colleagues and was intrigued with the hot stone cooking. Wonderful meal and a great evening. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but we found a place.

“Elegant, awesome food and wine. A must when in Warsaaw”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

I was amazed at the quality of food at this place. Being the second time to Warsaw, I was not expecting great cuisine but this place blew me away. It is a well decorated , elegant place with a fantastic menu. The quality of the food is super and the wine list is very good. The service seems to be nice, although most of the ordering was done by local friends, as such i could not judge. The duck is to die for.

“Cousy home design with excellent food. A place to impress.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

The food menu is relatively short, but each option is of highest quality. I recommend "lava stone" dishes - you can fry your meat/fish/seefood on hot stone - forget the smell of frying food - the experience and taste is worth doing it!
Interior design of this place makes you feel like at home. Great place to impress your business friends, attractive woman (man) or your parents-in-law :-)

“Classy "old Poland"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Very good food, mainly traditional Polish. Service is good but not too friendly: a bit stiff, like every Polish restaurant pretending to be classy. Music is a bit loud, can be disturbing. Overall decor is warm, yet it will seem authentic only to tourists: this "old Polish" restaurant design style has become the standard of any restaurant that wants to look "old Polish" yet posh. Still, a place worth considering.
