The Polin museum is stunning. If you are visiting Warsaw this is a must see - it is not to be missed. The museum takes you on a journey of 1,000 years of Jewish history in Poland. The museum is interactive, engaging and informative. We spent 4 hours in the exhibit and could have stayed longer. Every detail has been well planned. It is hands on and could keep the interest of both children and adults and those who have little knowledge of Jewish history and those who already know a lot. One of the best museums I have ever been to. You can't appreciate the monuments and memorials to those who died without appreciating how they lived. The Polin museum tells the story of how millions of Jews lived in Poland. Even includes info on post WWII and the resurgence of Jewish life in Poland today.

“Riveting architecture, illuminating exhibit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2015

The empty center of the Warsaw Ghetto has been very appropriately developed with an elegant, almost shimmering building that deceptively hides the large exhibition inside. The interior is even more awesome. When I visited, he museum was too full of visitors to truly be able to do it all justice and take it all in, so I will return. But this is very much worth a visit!

“Polin, History of Polish Jews”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2015

We visited Warsaw especially to go to the museum. We spent five and a half hours there.
Great Exhibition, Multi Media interactive exhibits, Highlight of our trip. Went there to learn where my Grandparents came from and how they may have got there. (They came to London around 1900) We cannot praise the contributors and their concept highly enough. (Thanks) One criticism, some of the captions were so small and could have benefited with better lighting. The torch on my Iphone certainly helped. Would certainly like to visit again.

“Thorough and engaging overview (free on Thursdays!)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2015

This museum does a brilliant job of putting the Jewish experience in Poland in context. The main exhibit covers two floors and takes a good two hours to explore, even if keeping a brisk pace. There is a lovely kosher snack bar on the first level, and, if you're lucky, some temporary exhibits, but in my case the one I wanted to see had departed two or three weeks early, to my chagrin.
