“Good basic hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

Good value for money, clean comfortable room, friendly staff, reasonable breakfast. The hotel is 20-30 minutes walk from Nowy Swiat, a bit further to the old town but the Warsaw public transport is excellent. However the location is noisy with trains, trams and road traffic. Bring earplugs!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the other side from the railway station

The Campanile Hotel is in a good location, has a helpful staff and a nice breakfast.
Rooms are clean, but small and noisy.
Also, in my room, there was no facial towel to use inside the bathroom.
Unstable internet access.

The hotel was clean and excellent value for money. We had a comfortable stay and its proximity to the trams (which are incredibly regular) is very useful. We were also impressed by the provision of bottled water in the room each day.
Unfortunately, there is little in the hotel's immediate area so it is not really possible to eat near the hotel without using the hotel's restaurant itself, which serves quite good food, but is a little soulless. One of the reasons I chose the hotel was because of its proximity to the train station, but the Central train station is still a fair walk/2-3 tram stops so if staying on a city break it might be better to stay closer to the Old Town.

This is the worst hotel in Europe the rooms are noisy and need refurbishing they are small, noisy with spartan furnishing, Right next to train and tram tracks made for a fitful night, and don't forget the police, ambulance and fire sirens going all night. The restaurant food is bloody awful and is not worth the money. I think if you are looking for better accomodation try pitching your tent somewhere.

Room Tip: Any Room is noisy, so take your I Pod and crank up the volume, and for an excellent meal DON:T eat h...

Probably, because of coming Football Euro 2012 in Warsaw, the hotel was selling the tiny rooms at ridiculous price more than 100€, including breakfast. For this money you get very basic, noisy and claustrophobic room with too narrow bed for two and neglected bathroom with frayed towels. Generally, the hotel is bit dated, not very clean and for sure, needs renovation. The location is very good, with the easy access to the train, tram and bus, but with permanent street noise instead. The other negative point is rather poor quality breakfast, like in the cheap canteen.
Service was unequal. The desk staff was friendly and helpful, but in the restaurant - less professional. If you don`t need to take the room in Campanile Warsaw, try to find another option.

I stayed here for 2 nights and was very happy. The staff were super helpful (they even helped me print my boarding passes). The room was clean and perfectly adequate - it had air-conditioning, a nice tv, hair dryer, kettle and a nice bathroom. The bed was comfortable and nice to sleep in.
The location is great. Only snag is that it is next to the railway line, which is good for access, but you can hear the trains at night. It is only about 15/20 mins from the airport by bus or taxi.
I would recommend this hotel.
