“I will come back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

It's small restaurant with only a few tables and industrial decoration. Menu changes every week or two and is rather short - 3 starters, 3 mains, 3 desserts (maybe they introduced sandwiches later or i haven't noticed them). Portions are not too big - just enough to taste. You can eat starter, main course, dessert and don't feel too full. I had fried apples with raisins and gorgonzola sauce (starter, very good), cod with omelette and cauliflower (main, great!) and vanilla panna cotta with baked plums and caramel sauce with salt for dessert - that was absolutely amazing! My friend ordered as main roasted beef tail that was just delicious - delicate and tasty. When you visit Kaskrut, you should try as many dishes as you can!
You can choose drinks from wide variety of lemonades and other softs, eg. I tried rose lemonade. Service is very nice, helpful and gladly explains every position in the menu. Prices are always below 30zl for a dish and it's absolutely worth paying. I'd love to come back there!

“Try everything”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

A favorite in warsaw - tiny restaurant serving amazingly innovative food combinations. The menu changes every two weeks and consists of sandwiches (fresh baked bread), starters, a soup, and wonderful mains like cod with omelette, cauliflower, and soy. Oh and excellent desserts! Go there if you want to be surprised. The prices are reasonable and the service at once casually kind and professional.

“surprising”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

A very small place to have a snack or two, or a 'kaskrut' (sandwich). Short menu: 3 sandwiches, 3 starters/soups, 3 mains and 2 desserts. We tried: a beef sandwich and a spinach sandwich, onion cream soup and one starter with peas and grapes. The starter was 'strange', but the rest was delicious. The owner is French, not speaking any Polish, but fluent in English. The idea of Kaskrut is simple: good food with modern twist, surprising and fresh.
Karkrut offers discounts during lunch hours. No wine or beer available, but I loved a rose lemonade. And don't forget about the dessert. It's the best part of the meal :-) and a delicious espresso.

“Hi level, still not to posh”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

There is nothing not to like about this place. The level of the cuisine is one of the best in Warsaw. The prices are reasonable, for quality ingredients, and quite large portions. The character of this restaurant could be described as "local ingredients, in international kitchen". The menu changes every two weeks, so it's difficult to reccomend a dish, but I guess it's hard to make a mistake ordering any dish.
