Warsaw was halfway on our trip back home and we decided to look for a place for one night which is on the way (North-South) and comfortable on a good price.
Also because we came from a quite dreadful place, this accomodation seemed like heaven. Nice, clean, modern, quiet.
We booked an apartment as we were four of us, it was also spatious, although there were 4 single beds and we didn't have the strength to put them together after 1 day of driving. In the bathroom there was a fitted shower, which meant it was big and comfortable, and as others say, the bathroom (as well as the rooms) are very nicely done up, we really felt at home and at ease.
The breakfast was good, with freshly baked croissants, pancakes and biscuits other than the usual continental display, two kinds of juice etc, only the breakfast room was quite small with only 4 or 5 tables and it was full at 8:30.
The service was good too, the girl at the reception was very nice and helpful.
I was happy with the location too - it was on our way, and right next to the hotel there is a big shopping outlet with several restaurants too. For us it wasn't difficult to find as we used a GPS and it was clear as we approached the area that it will be an estate where buildings can only be reached from the way to the shopping centre (but the hotel actually draws attention to this in their booking confirmation). On the way to the hotel there is some construction underway, so yes, if you drive, you have to be careful to mind where you turn - so drive slowly and pay attention. But I guess this bridge will be built by 2014, so it is a momentary drawback.
I will consider this hotel even if we want to do sightseeing in central Warsaw as the train station is cca 500m away so they say the downtown can be reached fast.
On booking, make sure whether you want single or French beds!
