“Only for one night during traveling becasue of price and location to the airport”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

I was there last week for one night stay. I had very late flight from Munich to warsaw and there was no sense to go at midnight by car to Katowice so I decided to sleep in Warsaw. Very close to the airport and price per night is cost efficient. That's all. Rooms very basic, breakfast terrible and coffee too. When you need bed to sleep for good price is ok.

The Gromada Airport Hotel is nothing spectacular. It's rather dated and quite average in my opinion. The room I had was simple, utilitarian, and relatively comfortable. The biggest gripe I have with this hotel was the fact that the room was extremely warm and there was no way to turn down the heater and the wifi didn't work or if it did, it went out every 5 minutes (although they do admit that internet connectivity could be an issue with some rooms due to the configuration of the building...maybe I was just given a bad room?).

I would recommend staying here for if you need to overnight but I wouldn't stay there longer than that.

I stayed in this hotel last november with a few friends during a Salsa Festival. We had booked a twin room but got bumped up to a suite! This is a pretty comfortable hotel quite close to the airport (20 minutes walk I am told). The rooms were warm, clean and quite modern. The rooms had free internet. The buffet breakfast was okay but not great, still a nice start to the day.

This hotel is probably not ideal for tourist who want to do alot of activities in the centre because it involves a longish bus ride. There is , hoever, a mordern shopping mall a short bus ride away.

We stayed at Gromada Airport in January 2012 because we had fligh early morning. This hotel is a joke. It is old, stinking and dirty. Furniture in the rooms is a nightmare. The bathrooms are dirty. There is no hair dryer in the bathroom. Do not go there... Better to book next hotel on the same street Hotel Airport Okecie - new 4 stars hotel clean and nice.

Gromada was once a symbol of standard in old-time Poland, now it's just very average hotel with one major advantage - close to the airport. Old, poorly funished rooms with extremely uncomfortable beds (mattresses are ancient and worn-out). Old carpet, it was just like travel in time to the communist times. Bathroom seems renovated and quite clean. Resteurant serves decent food, also the breakfast is abundant.

I had one night at the Gromada airport hotel. I guess the hotel has 2 parts - old one and new one and I was in the new one - on the 6th floor. It seemed very much ok, the room had a nice view, the elevators were absolutely good. Sleeping comfort was also very good, no complaints. Bathroom had all I needed. Breakfast was simple and basic but it was ok. It had nice bread but not croissants or other cakes, etc. Also the coffee was instant, which is a minus for me.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the tall part (with the 10 floors)

Good location to the airport, basic room, nothing fancy but that was fine. Booked the hotel for the free transfer not knowing distances and convenience from the airport, found out that it only covers coming to the hotel not going to the airport. Since we got a rental at the airport and dropped off the day before the transfer didn't work but its only about 5 bucks. Booked the room for breakfast included but was told that it was not included when I inquired at the desk, not a biggy but don't really like the little supprises, found out later breakfast was actually included but so sorry.... lol. It can be a little noisy in the room. It sounded like motorcycle races outside several times and in the morning you can hear people in the hall talking like they have to get ahold of someone further down the hall..
