“When I finally understood why I went to Warsaw”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

It was first when I entered this park, relaxed (stress is hard to avoid when you have a tight program), looked up from my guide book and took a deep breath, that I understood why people go to, love and then return to Warsaw. This park was simply like a park should be. It was open and easy to navigate through. In the meantime you often could not see or hear anything else than green grass and trees, squirrels, pigeons and peacocks, and happy, carefree people.
In my very personal opinion, I'd like another ice bar or place to sit down and have a drink. However, if I had been objective I would clearly determined that more buildings, and at least more cafes and ice bars of this kind, will destroy the soul of this old, but fresh park.
If you go to Warsaw, please visit this park. Especially if the weather is with you. Stay here for five minutes or twelve hours, it's up to you. Lazienki park welcomes you any time!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

I was there in long weekend when all the atractions in the Park were free so I could experience it!! The park is big and peacefull. The old buildings in the center of ponds and trees, there is also restaurant in the park but I don't know about the prices. For sure it's worth seeing.

“Definitely Warsaw's #1 attraction.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

This is a stunning park, with endless lawns, trees, peacocks, orangeries, ponds, a theater and more squirrels than you can count.
It is BY FAR the most beautiful place in Warsaw.
Give yourself at least 2-3 hours to fully explore this beautiful park.

“Do Not Miss!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

This was a peaceful beautiful place in what otherwise can be a somewhat sad city full of war stories. The rebuilding was masterful and the place is very large with numerous things to do and see, from boat rides to tours, and the must-do long walks. There is an interesting little white building that Poniatowski had built to house his "harem" -- he was quite a fellow!! Get an ice cream in the park and ponder the trees and flowers (if they are in bloom of course). Spring is a perfect time to see how thoughtfully the gardens have been put together. It was my favorite spot in Warsaw.
