“In a sense it feels funny to rate this "excellent"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

What can be "excellent" about the fact that there was ever such a place as the Warsaw Ghetto? But since there was, it's necessary to see what little there is left of it and to remember the history and not be ignorant of it, or forgetful of it, and of those who suffered.

“Hauntinh and historic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

If you have ever read Mila 18 by Leon Uris then a visit to the old Ghetto and not to the official sites is a must. The ghetto is now a home for homeless people but if you locate it, then you will see walls which still have bullets in the walls and you can visualise how people were contained in this area for years.

“What Ghetto?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2012

There is no ghetto any more, just a monument with one man selling postcards and books. The New Museum of Polish Jewish History is almost completed and will be fascinating. However, if you go to Prozna Street that absolutely worth your time. It's the only street of the ghetto left standing. Very hard to be there and yet one MUST go. http://inne.ad-punkt.pl/prozna/prozna.swf?ver=1

“Historical - Must See”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

It is a must to walk around Warsaw Ghetto when visting Warsaw. We suggest that you budget 2 to 3 hours. There are pavers on the ground that indicate where the wall existed. Moreover, there are signs along the way that indicate what buildings where used for and so on.. Lastly, you must find time to go to the last remaining ghetto wall. The locals where very nice when we visted the wall as it resides within the space between two apartments.

“Historical Site ....worth the visit? Yes.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2012

After studying the Warsaw Ghetto for 3 months.......a real life visit was very meaningful to me. I felt the spirit of those who lived and worked in the Ghetto, and their trials to stay alive.
