“Boutique hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

We have stayed twice at the Hotel Rialto and have enjoyed the Art Deco ambiance and old world touches. It seems that each room is somewhat different than the next. There was parking in a lot adjacent to the hotel for an additional fee. The staff at the front desk was very helpful to us as well. Our room rate did not include breakfast. When we asked (senior) staff members about breakfast, we were told if we would purchase breakfasts right then for our entire stay we would be given a reduced rate for breakfast. (Newer staff members didn't seem to have this authority...but it happened on both trips.) The breakfasts were exceptional, especially by European standards. A huge buffet table was offered as well as hot dishes prepared to order in the kitchen. Lots of choices...including things Americans would call "dessert."

I will say that both beds were quite low to the floor and very hard. We learned in other countries that this is often standard, and so we slept on top of the comforters and then used the extra blankets in the room for covers. There was always turn-down service at night.

For a hotel experience that is somewhat central and not cookie-cutter standard, this was a nice choice.

“i expected more for 5star hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

I have stayed for 2 nights on a business trip. Services were very good. The hotel has very specific design, old venetian style of rooms, but somehow i didnt find it enough for a 5 star hotel. The bathroom was great with both shower and a bath tube in the middle of the room, but the room itself was dark / dark furniture, dark walls and paintings, and i didnt have a positive feeling in there. Also the rooms and coridors were really noisy, i couldnt sleep well.

Dear Valued Guest,
I would like to take this opportunity and thank you for your valuable and helpful comments expressed in your review, which we have recently received.
I appreciate the remarks concerning the corridors and the noise as general. We are so sorry because of this.
Every hotel room has been individually designed and furnished to reflect the by-gone era of 1920s-1930s and every design has its pros and cons. The Art – Deco style is indeed special and we hope you shall visit us again for us to show you its brighter side.
We do hope to welcome you again in the near future!
with kind regards,

“Lovely hotel... but courtesy breakfast didn't exist”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

Hotel Rialto is a lovely hotel. However....

We booked through ebookers which stated that a courtesy breakfast was included in the price. Reception insisted that this was not the case, our price did not include breakfast, and that we would have to pay for breakfast at £20 per person per breakfast and they weren't moving on that. Not wanting to add £80 to our two night stay bill we walked to the bakery down the road instead. Not having internet access we weren't able to check if this was the case until we got home... and indeed it states that a courtesy breakfast is included.... not impressed.

So... the breakfast experience took the shine off what would otherwise have been a lovely stay and wouldn't go again.

Leason learnt... print everything off and take it with you!

Rialto - please change the ebookers description

“Great Boutique Hotel in the Center of Warsaw”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

The Rialto Hotel is a very stylish hotel located within walking distance from both, tourist attractions and the business district. The rooms are comfortable and offer a welcomed change form the the way the vast majority of hotel rooms look all over the world. The rooms I have seen are kept in Art Deco and Colonial styles. The cleanliness of my room was always impeccable, in part because the cleaning staff do afternoon touch-ups.
The employees are friendly and attentive, but discrete. The Restaurant is rather good for Polish standards, as it offers a fresh take on classical dishes of local cuisine. The produce used seemed fresh and the preparation was on point.
Add a great value for money to the already impressive offer of the Rialto Hotel and what you get might just be the best hotel in Warsaw.

“Didn’t expect it would be that good.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

Spent there only one night, but this was enough to convince us. Classic décor – although I’m not a fan, it was so well designed and with such attention to detail, that it really impressed me.

Reception very kind and professional. We got upgraded, huge two chamber room, with huge bathroom and comfy bed. Quality materials used, fashionable lights in the room, details everywhere, well thought design. Really loved the room.

As for the area, basically in the city center (but ot the Old City), plenty of bars and restaurants.
Surprisingly affordable for that good five star hotel.

Recommended.

Room Tip: Upgraded, two chaber rooms are splendid.
