“Amongst the top 3 in Warsaw”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

I was booked into the Intercontinental since Sofitel and Westin were already overbooked. I had been booked in the executive area.
There is nothing negative I can say about this hotel. The location is perfect for private and business. The opera is around the corner. You can go shopping in the area. Nice restaurants are all over the old town.
The room was spacious and very comfortable. The view across the city from the top floors is just amazin.

I travel to Warsaw every few months on business and always look forward to staying at this hotel. The rooms are definitely 5 star standard. In fact, I have been given complimentary upgrades to a suite on my recent 2 stays. The suites are generous in size, with large screen TV's is all rooms. The room, as with the rest of the hotel, is spotlessly clean. The toiletries offered in the bathroom are generous quantities of Elemis branded soaps, shower gels, bubble bath, etc. There are certainly a wider variety of products offered than most other top brand hotels. The gym and pool are worth a visit, even if it is to take in the sweeping view form the 31st floor. The restaurant in the hotel is fabulous, with short menus reflecting fresh seasonal produce. Best of all, the chef will easily put something together should you not quite like anything from the menu. Breakfast is an amazing spread of tradtional offerings, Japanese items, pastries, egg station and local Polish cuisine. The chocolate bar on the ground floor is a serious chocolate indulgence. Highly recommend this hotel for an overall excellent experience.

I have been there two times. Hotel Is localized in city center (in the middle of Warsaw), you can reach every place in Warsaw by foot, if you will stay at Intercontinental. Take the room as high as possible, so you will have amazing view at the city. Last floor – swimming pool worth to visit – spending few minutes in jacuzzi pool with amazing view. Five star hotel in Warsaw, five star localization, service and rooms. Everything is perfect!

Room Tip: Ask for the "high as possible" room:)

I've stayed here twice now with 3 more stays coming up. It does everything I need, good rooms, good leisure club with view from 43rd floor and you can go to classes in the studio there, I think all are in English certainly the yoga I went to was. As one of the other reviews mentions it is well worth buying the Ambassador club package before you go if you are going to be there a few times. I've had great room upgrades on both visits and you really do feel you are getting luxury not just a room. As always don't get the doorman to find a cab - the hotel cars are expensive and there is a taxi rank just across the road towards the palace of Culture 30 seconds away. Restaurants in the hotel very good but expensive for Warsaw. Breakfast however is fabulous with a freshly prepared choice of everything I can think of including Japanese food and fizzy wine if you are up for that at breakfast. Standard pillows are very soft so it is worth ordering one you like from the pillow menu it's no hassle

Room Tip: You might like one of the apartments with their own kitchens including dishwasher for evenings you d...

I can not say enough about how much I love this hotel. Besides being well located, with wonderful accommodations and really good restaurants, the staff caters to your every need in a friendly and non-obsequious way. This was our second time here; first visit was in 2009. We were very pleased then, also, but if anything, the service was even more exemplary this time. We admittedly have some specific requirements, particularly about food and serving times, that can be challenging, but this hotel always rises to the occasion. Everyone was wonderful during this 9 day stay, but I'd like to express particular appreciation for Marius, the manager of the main restaurant. We plan to return to Warsaw and will not stay anywhere else.

One of the ugliest buildings in Warsaw but when you are inside the hotel, you do not see it and that feels good! Interiors are very good and just as expected from a 5 star hotel. Restaurants are good but not the one which is located sub-ground level with no light. You can walk to the Old City in 30 minutes, close to many shops and central train station. It is also 50 meters close to Culture Palace which is something every visitor must see (you can't avoid seeing it anyway).

Room Tip: tell the receptionist whether you want to see the cith center or suburbs
