Took my son to Auschwitz and stopped in Warsaw for one night before heading off to visit friends in Berlin.
I have stayed before and had been impressed. However a deal of £54 a night including breakfast was too good to turn down. The only word of caution is that there is a lot of construction work going on, a new metro line is being buit. While not directly beside the hotel it does make it awkward to walk from Warsaw Centralny station.
Check in was very efficient and the reception area and restaurant is light bright and airy. The elevator ride is superb and provides a great view out side the hotel.
The room was beautifully appointed and the twin beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was also delightfully appointed too. Breakfast was very impressive withnanhuge choice of hot food, cereals, breads, ham cheeses etc
Only negative point was that when we returned to our room after breakfast to get ready to check out, the apple charger for the I pad had disappeared. I phoned the service point and 5 minutes later the charger was returned by the cleaner. I happened to be in the toilet when it was returned so was not able to get an explanation. A short while later I got a very apologetic phone call from the service point indicating that it was unacceptable. I have to agree.
However the hotel is certainly worth a visit. Just be careful.
