“Excellent breakfast and comfortable beds”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

We stayed at the Blu Centrum for an extended weekend, and had an excellent time. The staff are efficient and pleasant, and the breakfast is excellent, featuring a chef who cooks omelettes to order.

We brought our ten-month old daughter, and the hotel quickly swapped out the extra bed they had put into the room for a babycot.

We had a lovely room on the 6th floor it was in the Maritime style and very nice and clean with comfy beds and every thing you need, but the best things were an amazing breakfast and the very well equipted gym and lovely relaxing pool, jacuzzi, steam and suana, but you do get Naked men in the steam and suana. I was happy with the location as I found lots of things around the hotel and the main railway station was in easy walking distance (I thought)

As I saw in another review, the Radisson Blu appears to be in the business district of Warsaw and when we arrived, I did think it seemed a little far away from the tourist centre of the city. However, it is within a nice walking distance of the Old Town and there is a big shopping centre nearby. Warsaw train station is very close to the hotel and for returning back to the hotel from the Old Town at night, the taxi fare is very little. The hotel is beautiful and the variety of food on offer for breakfast is fantastic. As we were being picked up from the hotel at 5am one morning for a day trip to Krakow, we were able to order a breakfast box to go and there was tea and coffee available in the reception. Our twin room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, and as our room was at the front of the hotel, we had a great view of the Palace of Culture and Science. The swimming pool is quite small but it was quiet when we were there. We got a great bargain at €30 per night including breakfast. As the staff were helpful and the we enjoyed our stay very much, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, whether on business or leisure, and I will stay here again when I go back to Warsaw.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms at the front of the hotel have a nice view of the Palace of Culture and Science.

I have stayed here a couple of times. Good for business and leisure. is right in the center of Warsaw. There is a good restaurant on location with menu that has international dishes as well as some local specialty. if you need car service they can provide it for you. Breakfast buffet is among the most generous i have seen throughout the Radisson network.

Checked into the hotel the receptionist was very helpful however, the next morning I found out my overhead shower was broken, the pants press was broken and water ran out of the sink slowly. I also sat in the bar for 15 minutes until I had to ask for someone to come over and take the order.

Room Tip: Check the the shower and pants press when you check in

Although it appears to be right in the heart of Warsaw's business area, it is ideally located for tourists, 10 minute walk from the main train station and buses and trams passing on the main road a short walk from the hotel. Hotel is well located to get about the city by tram, bus and underground. About a 15 minute walk to the Old Town.

Rooms spacious and very comfortable with excellent shower. We had a room at the front which had a very good view of the Palace of Culture and Science, the tallest building in Warsaw.

Breakfast was excellent, swimming pool is small but wasn't crowded when we used it. All in all the hotel was very good value for what we paid.

I was on business trip in Warsaw for 1 week - so really liked this hotel as a choice for this purpose. Nice room, wi-fi with good coverage in the room (no issues), good breakfasts. Very good fitness centre. There is a supermarket near the hotel (5 min walk), does not work on Sunday. City center (Old Town/King palace) is about 20-25 min walk. Indeed, many reconstrucitons around the hotel - but no noise due to this (at least in the evenings). Would be good to provide bathrobes to all types of rooms (according to the reception not all rooms are with bathrobes). Minibar is locked - but I understood that if you provide your credit card at the reception then it will be unlocked. No freedge in the room - though would be good to have at least a small one.
Good quality-price ratio. Will chose it next time for trips to Warsaw.
