“Perfect size, perfect location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

As our son lives in Warsaw, we'll return and this hotel will choose this hotel. Other reviewers rave about location and breakfast--all true. Breakfast was from the extensive buffet or cooked to order. I especially like it's size--closer to the feeling of a boutique hotel. Our room overlooked the Culture Place and this made for a fabulous view at night.

On a short mid-week stop in Warsaw we selected this hotel for its location and history. It is very well placed for the old town, only 20 minutes walk, and the station and trams to various parts of the city. The food was good, rooms very nicely appointed and the staff very helpful. The only criticism I have, and this is one that is not unique to this hotel, is the charge for Wi-Fi. You can get free access in the lobby area but have to get a card with an access code, many of which don't work. Would I stay here again if I was coming to Warsaw? Absolutely.

We chose the hotel for a weekend stay during McCartney's concert in Warsaw. The hotel is in the very center of the city. It is close to the old town and the modern center as well. The architecture is very stylish and rooms comfortable. The only strange thing is that the staff sometimes looks like 20 years ago. Their uniforms are just not the best choice. But they are very nice and helpful. The only problem during weekends are weddings organised in the hotel. Fortunately we spent almost whole night in the city and avoided the best time of the the wedding.

Room Tip: rooms looking at the backyard are quiter

With its majectically high ceilngs, plush carpets, and endless mirrors and potplants and frist class service, staying here is like visiting a bygone era.Spacious bedroons, comfortable bed. Delicious food with casual dining in the bar and an enormous breakfast buffet (with free bubbles and vodka shots on the Sunday we visited). Polonia Palace was the prefect retreat after an eight hour bus ride and prior to a 30 hour flight home. Only issue is that you have to pay for wi-fi in the room although it is free in the lobby.

It is lovely, classy hotel. It is nearby the train station. The breakfast buffet is enormous and a treat. . The front staff was very nice and helpful. The city is easily accessible by nearby trams or inexpensive taxis.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Polonia Palace Hotel in Warsaw. I read that it was Warsaw's only pre-war hotel and had low expectations on how nice it would be. It was fantastic. Very modern and clean. There was free wifi in the rooms and lobby that gave everybody a chance to catch up. The breakfast was extremely good with a wide selection for local and standards. Really surprised to see champagne and vodka on the buffet line - but there it was. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Would absolutely stay again if I'm lucky enough to return to Warsaw. Loved it!

Room Tip: Have the vodka for breakfast!
