“Easy on a budget”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2013

Big hotel and maybe targeted for business travellers, but we two girls fitted right in. Nice clean room and tidy bathroom. Friendly multilingual staff. Very generous breakfast with low cost. they didn't have free wifi in the rooms, but the lobby had computers for customers to surf the net. The location was the best! We could walk our way everywhere and for longer visits around Warsaw we used the subway. You'll need a subway map to understand wich way to go! Locals don't speak very good english..

Just spent a week at this hotel. It has many things to recommend it; nice clean rooms, helpful staff, a great location, and fantastic views of the palace from rooms on the front elevation. This includes the gym which has views of the palace and skyscrapers which are reminiscent of New York.

This was my first stay as a leclubaccor platinum customer. My work had booked the cheapest rate (which didn't even include breakfast!), and as usual hadn't bothered to forward my card number with the order.

On arrival it took a bit of prompting after showing my platinum card but they upgraded me to an executive room on the top floor. It wasn't big but was a good size with a comfy sofa chair, nice and modern, and had great views. In fact it looked exactly like the official pictures! They gave me a voucher for a welcome drink in the bar and included breakfast at no extra cost.

The breakfast was ok but I am not usually hungry in the morning and found the fruit salad and croissants to be hit-or-miss. I prefer the selection at Luxembourg Centre but it was still perfectly good.

Checking out late was no problem either so really they delivered on the platinum offer and the perks were nice. The only real negative is the very restricted selection of English language TV channels; Euronews, BBC world, and CNN (which often breaks up). So, I definitely know what is going on in the world but the news hasn't exactly been uplifting recently. In Luxembourg the Novotel offers other BBC channels.

Overall, it is a busy but good business hotel and I will probably stay again next time I am over in Warsaw.

My stay here was not good in many ways at different levels.
For €160 a night you expect a good quality sized room. Instead I got a small not so clean one with dirty smelling sheets and an uncomfortable v shaped old bed which gave me a sore back. I dared not use the shower.
Housekeeping entered my room at 0830 without knocking - unforgivable.
Dinner and breakfast were adequate but overpriced and the pastries at breakfast were a bit stale.
Staff tried their best to help and the view is nice. If you get a room on the correct side. Which I did not.
Very disappointing - I will not stay here again.

The shower change temperatures without touching it.
The air condition of my room didn´t work.
The bell boy helps you to get a taxi but he doens´t say the taxi has a fix price.
My bed was smaller of my friends room and we´ve paid exactly the same}
nice breakfast. nice view. good staff at the lobby.

This is a good hotel in Warsaw. Rooms are well laid out. There are plenty of restaurants (just a short walk) around the hotel area. It is a pleasant flat walk to the Old Town which is well worth seeing.
