“Great Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

All the recent reviews are spot on. Great location, great breakfast, great room. Buy a train ticket at the airport Warsawa Centralna, you end up across the road - easy. We had a $98 rate from Booking . com - including breakfast.

The Marriott Warsaw is a great hotel. The location is excellent, literally a three minute walk to the main train station. The central location also made touring very easy. The staff was very helpful and had a better command of English than many hotels in non-English speaking countries. The hotel is very modern, beautifully appointed, and has very spacious rooms by European standards. Breakfast was generous and varried. The hotel was spotlessly clean and well maintained. We will certianly stay here again if our travels take us back to Warsaw. By the way, the Polish people are very hospitable.

The location of this hotel is in centre of the city, which is good for a shopping centre, business offices and streetcars. The old city centre and shopping street is 10 min taxi trip.
The hotel is a bit on the old side, but kept in good condition. Rooms are very comfortable with desk, good bed and bedding, decent TV with CNN and a few HBO channels in english. Bathroom is showing its age, with a bathtub/shower and small countertop around the sink but again, quite well kept up and clean.
Breakfast is very good and the Italian restaurant on second floor is absolutely excellent in terms of food quality, wine selection and service! Rooftop bar is rather broken up in terms of space making an otherwise facinating view seem clostrophobic and narrow.
My only actual complaint is with the concierge, who in response to our request for a recommendation to a quality restaurant in the area, sent us to a local cafe, who I'm quite sure she had a personal connection with. Upon our return and another request, she sent us down a street where we could find nothing. We returned to the hotel and found (on our own) what turned out to be the excellent Italian restaurant on the second floor Parmizzano's. Why she didn't recommend that is a real mystery.

Geat central location, opposite the main train station, with english speaking, tourist friendly staff & all you can eat breakfasts. Very comfortable beds & good size rooms & facities. Wifi is free in the lobby, extra in rooms...Medium to high price accommodation, but worth the extra dollars for the convenient position inter country rail travel & facilities. Local traditional restaurants & museum close by & a 3km walk to the old town where you can go on excellent free walking tours. Nice coffee bar in lounge & Casino on second floor. Convenient & professional.

Room Tip: Our rooms were all comfortable & on different floors & areas with good city views.

You can't get a better location - right next to train station, shopping center. You can walk to the old town.
Rooms are comfortable. Hotel may get very busy. All you can eat buffet on Sunday is very popular. On the negative: waiters seem to ignore dirty plates and glasses on your table.

Room Tip: Talk to the front desk - they are very accommodating!!! Rooms with Old Soviet type building are the...

I stayed at the Marriott Warsaw for 3 nights, couldn't ask for a better stay. Great facilities, superb staff and very luxurious. The view from the top floor was amazing and showed a beautiful sight of the Warsaw skyline.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at a higher floor facing the direction of the Warsaw Stadium to get the best view.

It is big, located over the first three, and from 21st to the 40th floors, the Marriott is a landmark, or at least it would be if it were not so close to its Soviet build neighbour, the Palace of Culture and Science. Nothing Cold war about the Marriott though, it is attractive, clean, well managed and friendly. Good location, just opposite the Central station and major shopping centre.

Check in was fine, and having established that i did not want a connecting room (why do they allocate these ?), everything was fine.
Room was as you would expect, great bed / safe / blackout curtains/ limited English language channel tv/ and good bathroom. All very clean, and well maintained. Could have done with a bit more info about the hotel, and Warsaw itself.
The views from the room were spectacular, and fun to pick out landmarks , such as Praga churches, the Royal castle and the Vistula.
Breakfast was very enjoyable with a very cosmopolitan selection. Room service prompt, good value, and enjoyable. The Italian restaurant was deserted but i was well looked after.

Front desk were particularly helpful, and welcoming.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.
