“Nice Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

This was our first hotel at the start of our 16 day holiday incorporating a 4 centre rail trip across Europe. We flew into Warsaw and took a 25 min taxi ride to the Marriot Hotel .We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and found the rooms spacious and of a very high standard .The staff were friendly and extremely helpful .The breakfast buffet with lots of choice was one of the best we have had on our travels. We had drinks in the cocktail bar on the 40th floor which were expensive but the views were great.Warsaw historic centre is approx 20-25 mins easy walk away and there are lots of taxis right outside the door.Warsaw central rail station is only across the road so this hotel is a good base for prospective rail travellers like us.There is a sports bar attached to the hotel where we had an evening meal .We found this pretty average.Try the Vapiano Italian restaurant opposite the hotel entrance instead.

The hotel is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel but my room did not smell like it.
On the first night, I noticed that big towels were missing like the room was not fully prepared even though I had a very late check in.
The WiFi is not always accessible in the rooms,

The breakfast is great, lots of choices of food.
The room's view is really nice.

We travel a lot - all over the world. I always reckon that if you're going to stay in a major city, for business or pleasure, then - get the best view, from up high, of the town!! This has it in bucket loads:)

About 30mins taxi ride from the airport (c.£10 or $15, incl. tip!) but also with bus access (No.150) and also tram and train - this hotel is excellently placed between the airport and nearby expanding business district (IT co's) and the old town and river. Nothing is 'that' far away.

We arrived to the hotel reception after an early flight, at 11am but with a stated 4pm check in time. On my polite request to check in early, we were immediately allocated a room on the 37th floor with a fantastic view of the city! This response is quite unusual in my experience as hotels, even if willing, always seem to have to make you 'pay' for it somehow!!

Also unusual was the extended buffet breakfast time of 11am, and (as we had a late flight out) a free extension to checking out at 2pm!! BRILLIANT - thank you Warsaw Marriott - other hotel chains take note!!

Also the reception desk, and Angelika in particular, could not have been more helpful or polite with the few requests we made.

We found the breakfast provision to be very good. For an additional £10 ($15) there was room service breakfast of course, but why not utilise the excellent selection and enjoy the view from the 38th floor?? The additional choices of smoked mackerel, together with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages, put this beyond the usual buffet offerings and went down extremely well. The buffet table was also regularly re-stocked. Having free access to the two pc stations and a linked printer to hand for such things as boarding passes, was an added bonus!

Always plenty of taxis right outside with the ever-present, courteous concierges and jockeys. Our local Polish business friends rate this hotel very highly as well - and they found it very convenient to pick us up from and drop us back to.

I have to say: "what is there not to like about it?"

We will, without any doubt whatsoever, make this our first choice for all future trips to the city.

Next to the Main train station and Zlotz Teresy (Golden roof) Mall. Great location, thi high rise building holds a few top floors for the Marriott Hotel. There is a Casino in the building. Service is great and the buffet breakfast is to die for! Parking is expensive (Around $20 US a day). You are 5 minutes away from Shopping Malls and about a 30 minute walk to the Old Town. Enjoy the stroll and visit restaurants or coffee shops along the way.

I was at this hotel with my wife in 2012 - before euro2012. We stayed at 39th floor with fantastic view on Eastern part of Warsaw. Hotel is central located and easy to reach with busses from the airport.
We ate at the italian restaurant there, it was very good and Price was medium, not expensive and not cheap. If you compare the service and quality of food with Price it was very cheap :)
We can recommand this hotel if you want luxary and wants to be spoiled with service.

Room Tip: Ask for top floor, and order in good time :)

For a hotel in Poland, this Marriot is pretty good. We stayed for 5 nites and inspite of the cold weather in April the hotel was nice. The view from high up was lovely even though the city is pretty grey. The charge for WIFI is very annoying, hotels should get a grip and figure out a way to include this. They charge way too much. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, filled with great selections and very good offerings. The gym was nice as was the spa. Opposite the hotel is a very large indoor shopping mall with every store one could want. The room was adequate, not very large but equiped with everything one would need. The bathrooms are small but the shower was wonderful!

Room Tip: High floors have interesting views of the city

The staff is friendly and speaks English. the General Manager: Mr. Albert Helms is running an Hotel which should be an example for other chain hotels include Hilton and Sheraton. I spent several days,
the breakfast is like in Israeli hotels, rich and full of varaities, you cannot go wrong. the hotel is clean, enviroment friendly and please keep it like this, help to keep cost low by saving water and electricity.
You will not be sorry if you choose Marriot Warsaw and you will return, just becouse of this hotel.
