“Very good Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012

People are very nice and helpful. Perfect breakfast, except the bread, not a fan but not excellent. Well located. Taxi always available under the hotel. Shopping area and restaurant near hotel. A very good italian restaurant in the hotel also. Bar at the last floor is a + if you like to drink with a nice view.

Normally, I stay at the Hilton hotel when visiting Warsaw, but the price quoted this time was astronomical, so it was time for me to move on. I chose to stay here at the Marriott, I was on a business trip and I stayed for four nights. The room was faultless (standard room), it was spotlessly clean and also very quiet and comfortable it was located on the 25th floor. The breakfast buffet was superb, covering most peoples tastes, the selection was varied and generous. The staff were efficient, helpful and polite. This was an pleasantly surprising experience, I enjoyed my stay here and I will stay here again on my next visit.

Upon arrival at the hotel I informed the front desk that I would appreciate a room with a walk-in shower inasmuch as I have bilateral hip replacements; I was given a room with both a walk-in shower and a bath tub. This is an example of the kind of service I received from all of the staff at the hotel, from the concierge to the staff at the lobby restaurant and bar.

My room on the 39th floor was spacious, very clean and quiet.

I had dinner twice at Parmizziano's (Italian restaurant) and both the service and the food were first-rate.

I am returning to Warsaw in January, 2013 and February,2013 and I am looking forward to staying at the Marriott.

I stay here on business quite a lot - its a 5 star property, great rooms, good soundproofing, good beds and decent power shower - great breakfast and usually very good value.

Plenty of on-site dining options and a quick walk through the adjoining center to the Champions Sports Bar, which is a great option for good value casual food with a beer and every sport channel in Europe available on a ton of large screen TV's.

Very safe, good staff, I have stayed here 20 plus times now over the last few years and its a pleasure each time.

Travel Tip - ask for directions to Jimmy Bradleys 3 blocks away - traditional irish pub

We stayed here for two nights at the end of November. We should have arrived at 1pm but due to Ryan Air we arrived at 6pm.The hotel is fabulous, the room big enough and the bed(s)just the best anywhere in the world. We had a great view of Warsaw from our room especially at night. The bathroom was small, our only gripe. The swimming pool has two jacuzzi side by side so room enough for the two of us.Breakfast was superb, plenty of choice and the omelette was made fresh while you stood there. All in all we had a great stay.

This hotel is really good, but it doesn't meet the standards of a five-star hotel.

Our bathroom floor has not been swept over three days, and on arrival the sink was not perfectly clean. There were just four elevators in a huge building, the hotel was not very crowded so it was no big deal, but do expect long queues for the lifts during weekdays.

The hotel takes up 20 floors of a skyscraper and offers a lovely view of the Culture and Science building and of the city, but all in all it's a bit out of the city centre and I would recommend it more to businessmen than tourists. The distance from the Old Town, however, is not too big as you can easily reach it in about 30 minutes if walking, or 10/15 minutes by bus, and the area, being literally minutes away from the main central station, is really well connected. In the area there are not many restaurants, lots of kebab shops and two huge shopping centres.

Staff was very kind and useful and our room was big, had two double beds which were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice. I would recommend it.

Room Tip: If possible, ask one of the highest floors. Room 3425 was facing the Culture building and had a lov...
