“Very Helpful Staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

Stayed at this hotel Easter weekend and left with an overall favorable impression. I was upgraded to a business suite and even had an Easter Bunny (chocolate) waiting for me. I was very impressed with the staff and their helpfulness regarding holiday weekend early morning bus transport to the airport. This hotel is right outside a bus stop that takes you to the airport in less than 20 minutes. On the way to the hotel, however, the bus drops off at a cross street intersection, not directly in front of the hotel, but only a 1 minute walk. I say this because if you've never been to this hotel, you might not realize when you get off the bus just how close you are to the hotel.

Anyway, my only complaint is that the bathroom was a bit old looking and the water, although tolerable and warm, was not comfortably hot and it made for a less than ideal shower experience.

Dear Julie C

thank you for your feedback. I know that the noise to the street can be disturbing to some people. Next time you come please ask for a room facing the garden. This way you will not be disturbed.

Stayed with a group. Excellent hotel in the heart of the city. The rooms are modern, the service was overwhelming, The hotel is at a crowded plaza of Warsaw, but feels quite and friendly inside. The staff is very professional. Great food.

Stayed at this hotel last week for two nights .The whole experience was fantastic from checking in to leaving. Warsaw is a undiscovered gem of a city and I recommend you go now before people catch on to what a great city it is .this hotel is in a great place for visiting all areas of warsaw ,the 175bus will take you right into the old town ,and you can buy tickets in the shop at the hotel .You can catch the bus across the road from the hotel and on the return journey you can get off right outside the hotel .The beds are massive And the rooms have very modern decor. The bathroom only has a shower,so no chance to soak after a hard days sightseeing ,but the cubicle was very large and had a wall mounted shower as well as a roof one ! There is only one word to describe the breakfast and that's fantastic ! There is everything any one could want and it was well presented and very good quality food .the service was very good and all the waiters were friendly and smiling .The reception staff were excellent and very efficient with a quick check in,and although our rooms weren't ready because we arrived early they took care of our cases and informed house keeping to prepare our rooms as we had arrived .the consiarge booked our taxi for the return journey to the airport and all the staff were very helpful with directions etc .This is a first class hotel in a wonderfull city ,and our only regret was that we didn't book for a longer stay.

More of a high-end hotel leasing the Radisson Blu branding, I felt. This is the more economical of the two Radisson Blu's in Warsaw: 2 tram stops from the Central Station, but still very handy for all the main sights. It's pretty comfortable, with good rooms only slightly marred by a mass booking that weekend by a somewhat unruely Israeli teenage group that filled the corridors, lifts etc. right across the hotel as they went in for ongoing parties seemingly right across the hotel. Unsupervised teen coach parties is maybe not quite what you expect at a Radisson Blu, but I suppose that's what you're going to get at a (relatively) cheap hotel in Warsaw. Anyway, mercifully, once our door was shut, most of the noise went away. Good breakfast, wide range of options including bircher muesli and excellent scrambled eggs. I would have felt more reassured to have seen the odd Scandinavian on the staff to provide a bit of Nordic cool to the proceedings, but this was a pretty good stay notwithstanding.

We stayed here for a long weekend to check out Warsaw.

The hotel isn't the most central, but is about 10-15 minutes walk from the Central Station, where you'll find numerous shops, the Zlote Tarasny shopping mall and the Palace of Culture and Science. Every taxi driver knows the 'Sobieski', even if they know no English at all!

Check-in was fast, and throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered spoke perfect English. Our room was on the 7th floor and although not the biggest, was clean and modern. Our bed was huge and really comfy. There was an armchair, desk, decent sized TV, wardrobe, iron and ironing board, safe and juliette balcony. The shower room was hidden behind mirrored cupboard doors (which didn't close properly, but wasn't an issue), with a big shower, and modern facilities.

Breakfast is a large buffet and there was lots on offer. Everything we ate was great and waiting staff at breakfast all friendly. The breakfast room is very big and was never full.

The hotel also has a florists, souvenir shop, jewellery shop, restaurant, healthy and fitness centre, currency bureau and cash point.

All in all, a great stay, Radisson Blu have served us well again!
