“A gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2012

The hotel is a gem... in a great location despite far from the city center, it is very close to the Lazienki park http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%81azienki_Park worth visiting.

Rooms were impecable and food was good in the restaurant. Service was excellent throughout our stay, the staff speaks good English and is very very attentive.

It is far enough from the city to be peaceful.

For those who have access to the club, breakfast was great too.

Very good value too.

Highly recommended.

The hotel is located on a busy street next to park.
My overall feeling is that the hotel is not new, but thanks to lot of marble it has a luxury touch and own atmosphere.

The rooms are very spacy, and there is lot of unusual stuff. For example JBL docking station for iPhone, two showers and bath, etc.

I have not had time to do research of hotel in Warsaw, so I delegated this to my assistant. He have just chosen Warsaw's 'first' hotel on the Tripadvisor website. So, no, upon check-in I have found out that hotel is in bad location. It is far from the center comparing with, let's say, Intercontinental and Westin. Main thing - paid WIFI is VERY slow. Almost like dial-up line I had 15 years ago in Ukraine. I am in IT business, so speed of the internet is crucial for me. That's why my current experience is 'terrible'.

Dear valued Guest.

Thank you for your comments. I am sad to hear our internet failed to satisfy your needs. We just spent small fortune of improving strength of our signal and upgraded speed to 20 MG. Due to heavy use we notice occasional drop in speed – but not to Ukraine levels :)

As the guest satisfaction is the most important thing to us we now – as we speak - tripling the bandwidth to 60 MG.

I am Public Relations and not and IT but this sounds like good improvement to me :)

I hope you will enjoy this speed on your next visit.

Kind regards,

This hotel really is lovely and the beds so comfortable, The pool and gym are great too, People say its in a bad location which in a way it is, but the walk into the city centre is just fabulous if your not in a rush, seeing all the government buildings and embasys is breath taking. 1 bad thing about this hotel is that you have to pay for wifi (about 10 euro for 24 hours access) which in a 5 star hotel is completely uncalled for. Parking your car at this hotel is quite good value (atleast compared to what some of the other hotels were charging, I would reccommend it but if you don't have much time for site seeing and don't have a car then stay closer to the city centre.

Had a stay here in July 2012. Two rooms, used a "diamond suite upgrade" on one. Had a wonderful time. Connecting rooms, with one a bedroom/sitting room/bathroom suite. A few highlights:

1-Staff. The BEST in Europe we have seen in a while!!! They were top-notch, and went out of their way at every turn to assist us. "Marcin" in the regency club even ordered our delivered pizza as the place only spoke Polish!!!!!

2-Rooms. Clean and crisp. HUGE in terms of European sizes! Refreshed quickly every day.

3-Breakfast. Superb. Had breakfast in the restaurant every day. A quick and filling way to have a VERY extensive breakfast!

The ONLY downside is the location. It is only ~$10USD cab fare to old town, but it is 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Local car service (limo) was VERY affordable, quick and efficient!

Would definately stay here again.

As with all Hyatt Regency Hotels, the standards are great. The rooms are large and light, with fantastic size bathrooms with both bath, walk in shower and lots of space around the vanity basin.

Service is excellent, especially in the lobby bar - the food is to a good standard.

It is a 15 minutes’ walk or 5 minutes taxi to the centre (train station) - the walk is fantastic, as you get a feel of Warsaw and the architecture - there are plenty of quiet bars to stop en route if the goings gets too hot.

went for a holiday trip with my children the hotel was superb and the staffs were decent and nice helped us quite a lot. The rooms were quite big with good king size beds, were given quite rooms as well , the front desk told us the places to visit and see gave us a route planner trust me saved our time and could get it easy. Told about the city and country. Later night me and my partner went to pub which was really nice overall great holiday we had here.
