“Wonderful stay...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014

The hotel is centrally located, from the Central main station, one can just walk through from one end of the Złote Tarasy Mall and on the other end is the Mercure Hotel. The hotel is nicely maintained, very clean. The rooms are spacious and just like the rest of the hotel very clean. Breakfast is the most important time of the day and the breakfast at the hotel never disappoints. The hotel staff is not the friendliest , they are just professional and there to do their job, but is suppose that's ok.

I have stayed at Mercure hotels a couple of times in different cities and they have a problem; Non of them leaves any impression at all. It is just a place to sleep.

The Mercure Warsaw is perfectly situated, in the middle of everything. There the positive marks ends...
Staff is OK, but not more. Rooms are OK but nothing outside standard, cleaning of course good, what else? Bar/café average. Most important however, as it is just a place to sleep - the sleeping quality is just not good enough. Big, very hard, pillows and a bed you wouldn´t consider buying for the bedroom at home.

It was my thought last time after staying in a Mercure hotel, and it got to me again this time; I will chose this chain of hotels only when the others are booked out. They simply don´t leave any impression at all, no special feeling of anything. I can get better value for money!

We stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago for a 3 night City Break. I booked direct on the Mercure website & got a good advance deal at around £150 which I think represents good value for money. The best thing about this hotel is its location right by the Golden Terraces shopping centre / railway station & Palace of Culture. Upon arrival at Chopin airport, we jumped on a train which goes direct to the City & cost us around £4 ! Short covered walk through the shopping centre & the Mercure Centrum is across the road. Check in was efficient and we were given a room at the back of the hotel with a somewhat boring view, but a view all the same! The room was spacious, clean and modern. Flat screen TV but with limited channels and only one English channel (news). There are tea & coffee making facilities and a minibar and also a safety deposit box. There was ample storage facilities for clothes etc. The bed was suitably comfortable with good pillows and quality linen. The bathroom was pretty much standard and had a hairdryer and toiletries provided. The towels were a little small but hey, not a deal breaker! The hotel itself was formerly a Holiday Inn and the renovations are almost complete. The hotel has modern interiors and a trendy restaurant although we didn't eat here so cannot comment on the quality of the food. All the staff we encountered were polite, friendly & very helpful - Keep up the good work! Housekeeping was efficient. In terms of location, you can pretty much get to any of the main points of interest in Warsaw either on foot or by using the myriad of available public transport options in Warsaw. Its a great City and prices are unbelievably cheap for many things, including food / drink & transport. I would happily stay at this hotel again if I were visiting Warsaw and I can highly recommend it for both business & leisure travellers.

Hotel Mercore is located near Zlote Tarasy shopping mall. The result is unfortunately a problem with parking in the area. Lobby big, clean, service very nice. Quick check-in, upgrade proposed by the service and welcome drink. Room large, comfortable beds. Equipment perfect. Unfortunately, the only drawback was the lack of WiFi coverage. The room also drinks and coffee maker. Breakfast plentiful, tasty, but not compelling. Very good business hotel.

Just a two night stay over the weekend. Checking was easy and a free upgrade for the person who made the booking. Room was very clean and modern. Two double beds, en suite, tv, coffee machine, fridge. Staff were very helpful and nothing seemed too much for them. Location is superb being very central with good connections of bus, train and tram 200 meters away. The only criticism would be the price of a beer in the bar. 17PLN for 500ml (£3.50)where as the bar around the corner sold the same for 3.50PLN (£0.85) highly recommended just drink elsewhere.

Location is one of the best hotels in Warsaw. It is just next to a huge shopping mall, ideal location for business travelers.
Hotel has business rooms with Nespresso machines for a little extra above normal rates, room is a bit bigger, might be more comfortable to start the day with fresh coffee.
The only thing I would suggest is to develop the breakfast choice, which is not too wide. Although the choice is always fresh.
