Description: This is an incredible new restaurant opened by the ex-head chef of the Amber Room. He serves modern Polish molecular cuisine, served in degustation style. It is the kind of food that blows your mind with every bite - Michelin Star on it's way, without a doubt. It is a so-far little known restaurant that is quickly gaining popularity in the city, and I am sure that if you add it to the list, it will be at the top in no time! We have been here numerous times, and will keep coming back.

“As good as it gets!”

This is the only Michelin starred restaurant in Poland (2 star); but on their way to 3 stars by my experience. The emphasis is very much to use Polish ingredients. Things that are grown or produced in Poland is what they use. Even the wine pairing has a Polish option which is Polish spirits (vodka and liquors) to pair with the courses. My wife and I had that pairing as well a the wine pairing, which is Italian and Hungarian. On some courses the Polish spirits paired better; and on some the wines did better. The chef is extremely passionate about his craft, and using the best ingredients possible. They forage for some of the ingredients they use, based on the best day to harvest, and the best time of day to pick.
This restaurant lacks nothing!
Service is all anything could wish for; and the food is amazing; every morsel is to cherish.
We had the 8 moments degustation menu.
A real gem.

“You should visit at least once in a lifetime”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2014

I took my wife there for her 40's birthday dinner. Former President of Poland, Aleksander Kwasniewski, was there as well :-) I was wondering, if he had to book the table as early, as us (about three months before).
This is the first ever restaurant in Poland, which received a Michelin star. And well deservedly so. It offers so called molecular cuisine, based only on Polish ingredients.
Everything, including the smallest details, works perfectly.
Yes, it is very expensive, I have never paid so much for a dinner (over 200 EUR for 2 people).
But it was much more than a dinner, it was something like a theatrical experience. And when you buy tickets for a world class concert / philharmony / theatre / musical - then you are willing to pay 100-150 EUR. As said before - at least once in a lifetime.
First - the food. You would never prepare these so called moments (not meals) at home. You will not be able to gather all these ingredients. Some of them were really good. All of them were works of art. They not only tasted fantastic, but they looked like small masterpieces.
One can order 3,5 or 8 moments (priced 145-280 PLN per person plus 10% service) and the sommelier choses the best wines (150-15000 PLN per bottle, 30-40 PLN per glass) to accompany the moments.
The dinner itself is like a ceremony - each moment is preceded with a professional introduction by the waiter. It lasted around 4 hours (starting at 7 PM, finishing at 11 PM).
The menu changes everyday, depending on the season, so if you come back, then you are not likely to have the same moments.
And at the end of our dinner, the chef himself, mister Amaro arrived with a ceremonial special pie for my wife (even though I told the waiter about the birthday one minute earlier). We had a small chat, he is a very nice and humble guy.
You should definitely visit, at least once. But please remember - book early.

“By far one of the best restaurant in Poland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2014

On its day Atelie Amaro is one of the best restaurant in Warsaw. Exceptional fusion food with an amazing attention to detail. The taster menu is normally wonderful and perfectly balanced, you won't feel weighed down afterwards. The wine list is exceptional, concentrating on France and Italy and the sommeliers are always expert at guiding you through it.
Atelie Amaro is popular among polish top business people, well known artist and politician.

“"Starry night with the Star"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2014

My Christmas Dinner at Atelier Amaro was a best gift from Santa.
Amazing taste experience,surprising presentations.
Each plate tells the story so take time;
first, let your eyes to absorb it all, then absorb the aroma and last not least enjoy the food!
Now, that Atelier Amaro is still proudly caring Michelin Star for 2015 we will be there again....
Highly recommended

“Culinary spectacle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

It wasn't a dinner - it was a culinary spectacle. Extraoridinary food - masterpieces on the plate, amazing wines, great service! ...but dining there, there is no time for talking at the table! You can talk only about the food!

Planning a visit there don't forget to book the table a few weeks in advance!
