Description: This is an incredible new restaurant opened by the ex-head chef of the Amber Room. He serves modern Polish molecular cuisine, served in degustation style. It is the kind of food that blows your mind with every bite - Michelin Star on it's way, without a doubt. It is a so-far little known restaurant that is quickly gaining popularity in the city, and I am sure that if you add it to the list, it will be at the top in no time! We have been here numerous times, and will keep coming back.

“Huge disappointment”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

This place is definitelly made especially for Michellin reviewers without any regard to real enthusiast of great culinary experience. The 8 course menu had only 2-3 good "moments" as the menu calls each of the curses and the rest was purely bizarre if not dull. The chef clearly aims to be provocative and forgets that while cooking can become an art it has to remain great food in the first place. The offer of Polish liquers is evidently simply WRONG - noone in the world drinks warm vodka and no sane person can be persuaded that the year when potatoes were grown will affect the taste of vodka as the ammount of alcohol it contains will kill all the tastes and scents anyway. The Michellin reviewers recently have given Amaro one star, my recommendation is "Never Again".

“Not for a romantic dinner but good experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

Went there for a valentines dinner, 8 course set was definitelly too much. The venue lacks a bar area with comfy sofas, armchairs where one can have some pre/after dining drinks. Tables were a bit too big for my liking and we sat too far from each other what killed privacy. Service was ok, different de rangs responsible for their staff as you would expect at starred venues but in the end they forgot to top up. I chose the cheapest white but the Sommelier was very good and above all relaxed, got the flow :), knowledgable and not affraid of sharing it with the customers. Food very complex at times for my Polish palate but nicely plated and i guess it must be this way for a while, not many in Poland would go to a starred gastro-pub or classic French restaurant for the same price, it has to be modern or molecural, impress. Good classic Polish food prepared with local produce i can get at my grandma's in Mazury. We will get back to the roots once we will have enough of all the 'Ready to eat' meals, take-aways and all these E-3...
It's a very good culinary postcard from Poland, very good try from Wojciech but it's a shame we don't have, say, 15 of same standard venues in Warszawa what should bring the prices down and make such places more affordable on a weekly basis. I cannot see myself as a regular there but it was a good experience, try it out. "Worth a detour" :)

“Unique & innovative”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

My husband and I have decided to treat ourselves to romantic Valentine dinner. We had to do reservation three weeks in advance and still got only 9 pm slot. I had some reservations about going out on Valentine day as I do not like crowds and overbooked restaurants.

Well, it was worth it. We were made feel very special with very attentive waiters. Champagne was lovely and courses very unusual. We were offered Valentine special menu. We were asked whether anything from the served menu we wish to replace with another dish which has never happened in any other restaurant. Nice touch and thoughtful.

Dishes were highly unusual, lots of mini meals. Of course I have enjoyed some more than others but loved the whole experience overall. It was pricey but very memorable for all the right reasons.

I am writing it as sipping special herbal tea, the Valentine give away from the Chief. We will be back!
