I stayed at Wawabed for a weeklong business trip recently, and I can't say enough good things about it. The hotels downtown were full and so I came here, and I'm glad I did. The room and the whole house are spotless, Margaret and her husband and staff (family?) are friendly and helpful, the neighborhood is quiet, the room was spacious and the bathroom (at least for room #1) was new. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, eggs, yogurt (and of course sausage) in a lovely old dining room overlooking the garden. It's about 15 minutes drive from downtown and I had to take taxis most days, as time was always an issue, but taxis are not expensive in Warsaw, so it worked out fine. Wawabed will definitely be my first choice when I come to Warsaw again.
