“Good ambiance”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

We were recommended to try this cafe because of their Paczki ( Polish Donuts). I am not an expert but thought they were good. I did think the cakes and tarts were much better. My Polish daughter in law had the Pierogi which she said was very good. Ordering was a bit slow but the food did come out quickly. Think it is a place to be seen.

“WARSAW'S ICON !!! Collecting Rust !!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

The best years are, for a time being, behind A. Blikle. They were for many years the only place in town to offer the best "PĄCZKI" (Polish Donuts). Now, there is no differentiation point for Blikle, other than their location on Nowy Swiat Street. It is still a good place to have a "Chlodnik" (Polish Cold Seasonal Soup) during summer months and to get "pączki". But, is it enough to go back there more often ? I do not think so.

“Ideal for a break over coffee and a cake”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

I received 2 recommendations for this cafe and was very impressed by the first impressions. The staff are friendly and professional and the decor contributed to a pleasant setting.

We order drinks and a paczek (traditional polish doughnut) to share. Everything was delicious, I had the authentic iced tea which was unusual yet refreshing.

There is also a patisserie and a delicatessen located next to the cafe, well worth a look for good quality food.

Whilst it was more expensive than other cafes in the area, it was very much worth the little bit extra.

“Lovely cafe with great pastries!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013 via mobile

We had a lovely Saturday lunch at Cafe A. Blikle after spotting it walking along Nowy Swiat. The pierogi was delicious, as was the rose cream filled donut and coffee and walnut cake. A great place for people watching as it has on-street tables as well, plus it has history with Charles de Gaulle having apparently been a regular customer.

“That's what I call traditonal polish pastry”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

I you fan of good quality pastry it's the only place in Warsaw. Polish cheesecake made from real ingredients (had to check out my laptop to be able to carry cheesecake with me. Butter croissants are superb never ate better (rolled from thin pastry so 'step' are 4 mm from each other. I swear to god donuts are smaller (tinier) every time I visit that place (what's wrong with you Blikle)
