“A GOOD PLACE TO STAY”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

This is not a normal hotel ... I was given a one bed room apartment on a Bed and Breakfast basis but it can easily be a self catering apartment as it is equipped with every thing. It is centrally located only a short distance away from the central station and the two major shopping malls in Warsaw. The only down side is that breakfast is served at a bakery in the mall next to the apartment towers. I will certainly stay there again!!!

First things first - this is not a hotel - it's a residence. What does it mean? Wile in normal 5-start hotel you can expect:

- cleaning service every day
- free wifi access
- nice and competent staff
- lots of other convenient stuff

You won't be able to find it here. You have to pay additionally for everything. Staff members are extremely arrogant and the whole place is full of strange people. So unless you are a gambler, gangster or rake, stay away from this place.

Myself and my boyfriend visited back in December 2014. The apartment tower is lovely and very clean. The only thing I can think of that was bad, is that a couple of times we could hear very loud drilling, sometimes early. But maintenance has to be done at some point, it was just unlucky it was whilst we were there. The apartment is a decent size and has everything you could want. At the bottom of the tower there is a selection of restaurants and luckily a decent sized supermarket. As for a fair price, I cant comment, my boyfriend booked it all as a surprise. But I would definitely recommend.

Good stay for short time, the room are very good designed but it could be better, it could have been better, did not expect my expectations about a 5star hotel/apartment. Good location and good service!

I have stayed here several times over the past years and have generally had an OK experience.
The apartments are modern (or spartan, depending on your point of view), generally clean and tidy. Value wise they are OK , but I wouldn't say they're a bargain.

Depending on who else is staying they can be noisy.

There are a number of small restaurants and cafes in the complex and there is also a large supermarket.

Wifi is usually pretty fast but is charged as an extra (about £6 a day), also , for your "convenience" they only service the apartments on request each day - which is a bit of con.

Booking through third party websites has been patchy , attempt to double charge on one occasion and no reservation on another - although the staff sorted this out it did take half an hour quite late in the evening.

Location is good , close to the uprising museum and a short taxi ride from the old town square and rest of the city centre.

Was charged twice, by the booking website(amoma.com) and by the hotel and 1 month passed still no word from the hotel. Upon arrival I mentioned to the hotel that I've already paid through trivago&amoma. First of all they couldnt find my reservation, I had to wait 20 minutes and it was never found. As we got to our apartment we found out then that the swimming pool which was STRONGLY advertised on trivago.com was not included in the price, let alone be in the same hotel. You actually had to travel to the nearby hotel (HILTON) and pay 60PLN per entry to use the facilities. Complete scam, typical Polish behaviour as it was not clearly stated on the website. Oh and also.... you have to pay 20 PLN per day to use WIFI.
Another 50-60 a day for parking, it actually came out cheaper for us to get a parking ticket... as the street signs were not clear, no parking within at least .5km of the Platinum Residence.
The apartment itself was very lovely and clean, finished to a Polish high standard. My boyfriend and I were both very happy with the quality of the mattress and pillows:) Thats about it.

The staff working behind the reception desk had an offputting attitude towards all customers, we noticed this as we were not the only ones in the que.
My boyfriend and I speak English but have Polish last names, whenever we tried to speak to them (in English) they insisted talking in Polish. Everytime we tried to speak to them they would ALWAYS try to speak Polish to us as if we had to speak Polish due to our surnames. As we continue to speak English , they continue to speak Polish and continue to mumble between one another which is very rude.
Im sure after reading this the managment should have a talk with the incompetent staff working on Jan11-13,2015 in Tower B.

1.This is not a hotel, and certainly there is no 5 stars standard ..
2. The rooms are worn and very average
3. Bedroom windows and balconies are smeared in black gunk
4. For wifi you have to pay 30 PLN (but mobile site trivago booking.com and argues that it is free).
5. In the hostel there is no spa as they say on the page
6. Hotel staff does not help in the problematic situation, does not meet the requirements of the contract (or fraud), you can not withdraw from it *
7. The view from the window is very weak, at ''ruins''
8. Near to the object there is a 4-star hotel in a similar price *.
9. Trust to this booking sites have been irretrievably lost.
10. Consultants booking.com are not helpful. You can not negotiate with them or claim to integrity.
