“Nice Museum but i have seen better.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2014

The museum is nice but kind of all over the plate - there is no normal flow for visitors so you can of end up in dead end corners in the exhibit. I also saw the 3d movie for the destruction of Warsaw and after the 6 minutes... i was wondering what the hell i had seen exactly... not really worth it.

“What happened in Warsaw in 1944 ?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2014

During WW2 (1939-1945) there was a military uprising in the capital of Poland : the western orientated secret home army wanted to chase the german army out of the capital and they expected some help from the Red Army which instead halted their advancing forces some 35 km east of Warsaw. The western allies could not provide sufficient support and the uprising failed completely but caused a lot of deaths and the destruction of the city. This theme is well explained in this museum with a lot of artefacts. On top of that you can ask for a group conference which explains the background and the history which lead to the events. It is most frustrating to learn that after the war most survivors and particularly their leaders were condemned or killed by communist regimes in the Sovjet Union or Poland !

“Chaotic but very moving”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2014 via mobile

The museum tells the story of the incredibly brave resistance to the Nazi occupation on the part of the Warsaw underground. The displays, artifacts and videos are very moving; I just wished the museum had a little more organization to it.

“Inyetresting, but don't waste time to see the movie”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2014

We visited the museum and found it interesting, but we were disappointed that it did not include the Jewish Ghetto uprising, which occurred a year before the Warsaw uprising. We spent a long time in line to see the 6 minutes' video showing Waesaw in ruins. Not woth the wait.

“Must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

The museum is so big it gets confusing which direction to go, but the displays and content are so thorough you can't fault it. It is interactive and informative. A must see.
