“First stop if you want to know about Warsaw in WW II”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

Tells a great story of an important part of modern Polish history. Certain days of the week is free. Lot of items from the war. See before you walk the old city.

“Very educating”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

Set aside at least 4 hours if you want to see the whole museum. Rent a audio guide in your own language and watch the movies telling the story about the 1944 rising and the nazi strike back to pumice the Warsaw people.

“Untold story of courage”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

To understand the Second World War and what a nation suffered thru, this is a must. Do not rush thru this excellent collections of films, documents and collection of information on the Polish resistants and how a Nation fought for its Freedom.

Brillant museum and well worth a visit. The mood created by the lighting and decor adds to the atmosphere. The exhibits are brilliant and very informative. It gives the visitor a real view on life in Warsaw.

“A MUST SEE!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

A well-laid-out and most informative exhibition of one of the lowest events in Polish history. If effectively illustrates and explains the patriotism and heroism of Poles determined to preserve their capital in the face of overwhelming odds and the loss of life for many of them. The cruelty and inhumanity of the German invaders is clearly portrayed. The drive, resourcefulness and ingenuity of the Poles during the rising was amazing. I was particularly, impressed by the role that boy scouts played in the rising - acting as courriers moving through the sewer network, operating a post office, and other heroic deeds.
