“Room you get is critical”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

We were given room #12 initially. Listened to door slamming at restaurant immediately below until 1 AM. Can't imagine what its like in high season. Room was dinky with inadequate bathroom. Requested and received change to room #14 for last two nights. Much bigger, nicer room with great bathroom. There are 22 rooms at this property. Staff is mainly college students - very helpful and great English. Location is ideal. Car to airport cost $30. Taxi drops you off a block away. Have hotel arrange for car from/to airport. Tram to Uprising Museum is a block away. Good place....just watch what room they assign you.

Dear Dennis S,

Please know that your feedback is appreciated.

We can definitely help with the con you described. Of course, the Castle Square and the restaurant located beneath us can be a bit noisy. We do apologize about any noise you experienced during your first night however very pleased our team was of assistance in showing you other options which was much more comfortable for your stay.

We will certainly discuss your comments with the team as we are always working to improve our service and maintain the highest level of satisfaction to our beloved guests.

I hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to our hotel next time you visit Warsaw.

Best regards,
Anna Bogiel (front desk) & Dagmara Plata-Alf (general manager)

In the middle of both old and new in Warsaw, easy strolling distance to most attractions in the old and new towns as well as the main shopping streets. The orient express twin room no. 24 was very comfortable, more so than the more expensive room no. 16 which is right by reception and rather noisy. All in all a beaut base to explore the area. Hop on/off bus around the corner, as are the taxis and bus 175 which goes to Chopin airport, but buy a ticket at the kiosk by the bus stop first, or the bus driver will not let you on.

Room Tip: We loved the orient express twin room no. 24

If you are a tourist, then you will find everything you need at the Castle Inn. Best location with excellent accommodations. Very friendly staff, too. There are many interesting places to visit in Old Town and New Town. We especially liked the Chopin Museum and the Museum of Marie Curie.

Room Tip: For a little extra cost, choose the room of your liking. The Chopin Room was perfect for us with an...

Beutifully situated in Warsaw old town, Be aware that you need to walk 200 meters from the taxi. Restaurants and tourist views all around the place.

Castle Inn is a special place. The house is said to be from the 17th century and who thought of creating space for elevator and hotel bar hundreds of years ago... But you don't miss'em at all.

The staff is really caring and nice, you are warmly cared for staying in their hotel. Rooms are spacy and gives you the feeling of old times through furniture and architecture.

Common space is a little bit narrow. Breakfast room is tight and what's served offers nothing special, I missed the English breakfast...

However, I can recommend Castle Inn when going to Warsaw for a tourist trip. It gives you a the right feeling!

Dear LasseBromma,

Thank you very much for your detailed review.

It’s true, normal/city taxis can’t drive on the area of the Old Town, but Castle Inn provides a special shuttle which can take you directly from our door to the airport or central station. We will be happy to call you one the next time you stay with us.

We are so pleased that you have found your room to be so lovely and comfortable. Each one is different, some are furnished in an antique kind of style, others are more modern.

Thank you also for your kind words about the team and service provided to you during your stay and we look forward to seeing you again!

Anna Bogiel (front desk) & Dagmara Plata-Alf (general manager)

What a delightful place to stay! To say the rooms are unique is an understatement. We had seen the website, but it was even better in person. The rooms are also spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean; the staff is friendly and professional; the location in the old town is perfect; there is a wonderful restaurant next door; beds were comfy; and we could buy a bottle of champagne from a wine fridge near the front desk! We stayed in two different rooms on two separate visits recently, and just loved this hotel.

I really liked this quirky hotel. Situated in a great location in the old town and only a couple of minutes walk across the square if you wish to catch a bus to the park or uprising museum.
If you are used to the austere feel that some hotel chains have then you will be in for a big surprise here. We stayed in the comic book room and had a view of the cathedral but were not disturbed by the bells which some people have mentioned. There is a 24 hour reception on the first floor and all the staff were really friendly and helpful with our queries. No tea and coffee facilities in your room but we knew that before we arrived and it wasn't an issue. We used A B Everest for our taxis to & from the airport and they were punctual and made the transfer seamless. We had the same guy twice; excellent service. I would be happy to return to this hotel and use the same transfer.
