The room was nice room. Definitely different from any other place I have stayed at. Clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was located at Old Town square. It was a great location. I would stay again.

This hotel is in an old (restructured) opposite from the royal palace in the center of old Warsaw. It could not be situated better for sightseeing. Rooms are large, comfortable and well decorates. All over the premises are interesting pictures, shelves full of books and curious objects (opposite the reception a dummy overlooks everything).

The staff consists of young people eager to help.

Castle Inn is in a pedestrian area so you will have to carry your cases quite a long way and then carry them up the steep and long stair cases. Ask for a room on the first floor if you are not a former slave used to building castles

From the moment you press the button to open the street door until the moment your stay ends you will enjoy an unique experience. As previous reviewers have stated all the bedrooms are very different ,not so many have commented on the stuffed hall porter, the breakfast room with lounge furniture and paintings of the castle and Sigismund's column. However it is not just a curiosty this is a very good small hotel. It's position on the edge of the old town is ideal, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms have everything you need, the breakfast (which costs 35Zloty not 45)is very good for a hotel of it's size. What more can you want,OK it,s not palatial.

The Castle hotel sits in the old town part of Warsaw. One warning: your taxi (or bus) will not get you to the door. You will have to march across the cobbled square from the taxi drop off point; a walk of a couple of hundred metres. However, assuming this presents no problems to you and, similarly, carrying your luggage up a couple of flights of stairs to the reception (and possibly two more flight beyond to your room should it be in the attic) is something that you can cope with - this is a great hotel. The extraordinary reconstruction of the old town makes this a delightful part of town to stay in. There are bars, cafes, restaurants and much more right on the doorstep. The hotel is clean, comfortable and well decorated. Many of the rooms are themed and best of all the staff really care about your stay. It is also good value for money.

I stayed in Castle Inn for a conference in Warsaw, but whether you are in Warsaw for business or for a romantic city break, I would definitely recommend it.
The location in the heart of the historical old town is just perfect (and easily reached with bus 175 from the airport). The hotel itself is full of atmosphere, and the staff very helpful. I ended up working in their breakfast room (with free wifi) on a rainy afternoon, and they offered me tea and biscuits. So if you're looking for something more than the modern impersonnal standard hotel, that's the place for you !

This hotel is perfectly located on the edge of Old Town. The room we had was large and very comfortable. The decor is very eclectic, which makes the small hotel fun and interesting. The staff were always very helpful. Although there is no a/c, a fan in the room made it very comfortable.

I'm undecided how to rate this hotel that is why I gave it an average score. I think your impression would be dependant on what are you looking to get. Rather than criticize it, I will describe it and you decide whether it suits your needs. The hotel is located in the heart of the Old Town. A regular taxi doesn't go directly to the hotel; it drops you off at the main square and you would need walk with your suit cases and find it among other buildings in the square. The entrance to the hotel is an unusual one becuase it is just a door with no signs that this is the entrance to the hotel. There is a ring and once you ring it the door will be opened and you will see a stair case with no one by the door. You must go upstairs with your suitcases to the 2nd floor to see a small reception area where you register your stay. I reserved 2 rooms for 4 people. The rooms are all very unique in their size, layout, and decoration. One room was decorated as a train car. The other room was on the last ( 3rd floor) and was very small. It felt like an attic room. We barely fit there with our 2 suit cases. The bathroom in the attic room was tiny as well. I didn't like the room at all becuase not that it was really small, but it had no air. Even though it wasn't hot ( 30th of August ) I felt like I needed an air conditioner or open windows or turn a fan. The receoptionist said to open the windows. I did, but the noise from the main square was very loud so I had to close it. Finally I asked to switch the room. They did. I got the room # 14 that was much bigger and better, with a huge bathroom. The other thing to mention is the very dull illumination in the room. The hotel put the energy saving bulbs so the rooms are dark and you would need to light them all up in order to have enough light at night to read. No elevator, no air conditioner, therefore, sometimes there is a stale smell. The hotel breakfast is 45 zl per person. I recommend to eat breakfast outside the hotel, just accross the main square on the street of Krakow Predmestie there are several cafes that open early and have excellent choices of breads, pastries and coffee.. On the other hand, it is very convinient for travelers, as you walk in the old town and you can come and rest right there and then walk again.

Room Tip: all rooms are different in size and layout. If you don't like the room they give you ask for an...
