“A lovely little place to drop in and chat with the owner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

This is the third time I've been here in the past 3 years. It is a nice place, friendly atmosphere and good coffee (ok, I'm no coffee connoisseur so can't say if it is great).

I like talking to the owner who is an American who moved here some time ago and can direct you around the place.

There are standard cafes around, but I like this small, private place

“excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

I fell in love with this place. Their coffee is excellent. If you like your coffee sweet and/or with milk, try the piernikaccino, certainly the most epic spin on a cappuccino EVER. Decent choice of drinks, not too pricey courteous staff, good location. Actually, great location: half a block away from a theater and the Planetarium, and some museums as well. Has outdoor seating. I always went there for coffee, only ordered food once: some kind of roasted artichoke salad, and it was certainly very good. Believe me, I know my artichokes, so when I say it was good, it was good. Other things on the menu (and on other patrons' plates) looked rather yummy too.

Lovely music playing in the background. Dreamy.

One weird thing: their website. It does not say where the coffeeshop actually is. No actual address.

“food was excellent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2012

The food was excellent . They have a fresh platter of shell fish to die for. Without a freservationm we were seated outside under the awnings and it was perfect. There seemed to be locals at this restaurant too besides the tourists. . The service was prompt and pleasant.

“Don't understand why this place is rated so high?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2012 via mobile

Yes it's a cool
Little coffee shop but with all the awesome bars and cafes in this city why is an average cafe currently no 1 ?
In saying that I had a good quality latte and brownie but given the competition this place is nothing special. Get out and explore
