The Old Market Square (Stary Rynek) in Poznan is beautiful and in the centre is the Old Town Hall (Ratusz) - at 12.00, midday, everyday 2 goats can be seen coming out of a small door above the clock, they butt heads with each chime and then go back in. They are a symbol of Poznan and must be seen if you are a tourist in Poznan... Do you know the legend of the goats and why they are the symbol of Poznan?? You should find out ;)
The reason why I only voted them as average is because some people might have been to Prague and seen the astronomical clock or Krakow with the lone trumpeter... they are well marketed, maybe slightly more impressive, but made more impressive by the fact that they are crowded due to to the marketing and the atmosphere is better. Poznan is slowly getting recognised as a valuable tourist destination... and it deserves the recognition.
