“Small but Luxurious Poznan airport hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

I have statyed here before, on fairly frequent trips back and forth to Poland. Unfortunately I ususally end up at the Comm arriving fairly late at night for a London departure at an ungodly time the following morning, so have never been able to fully avail myself of the 'Comm experience' for more than about 4 hours total !

this time I had a grand total of 9 hours awake and asleep time there, and was able to enjoy hospitality, comfort, a great cappuccino (and as a coffee professional thats always important to me !) and even a meal !

service is always with a smile, professional and very accommodating - at reception and in the restaurant. Food is great quality. Rooms are very quiet, very clean, nicely decorated, and actually delivered with a slightly sensual experience (when you check in, you'll see what i mean, with the famous quotes inscribed on bedroom walls throughout !)

top that off with the convenience of a 2 minute walk from the Comm's front door to the checkin desk accross the road at the airport, and one has a great package of convenience and unexpected luxury.

Room Tip: Theyre all good !

This is a true airport hotel situated less than a 5 minute walk from the airport terminal, but yet wonderfully quiet inside. The bedroom was clean, modern, comfortable, with easily-adjustable radiators, satellite TV with stations from around the globe, and free bottles of mineral water. The bathroom was on the small side, had a shower but no bath, although with surprisingly good quality Italian products. There is also good complimentary wifi throughout. The members of staff encountered were all polite and friendly. Dinner was very enjoyable. There is no lift to the upper floors, and there are no bedrooms on the ground floor. So if you struggle with climbing stairs, this is not the hotel for you.

Stayed there several times on business trips. The near-airport location is very convinient, even if the place itself seems a bit tucked away if you're driving there.

The hotel is nicely decorated and very clean, and so are the rooms - the ones located in the new building tend to be more spacious. Bathrooms are small but practical, with a typical shower-only setup, and useful towel heaters. Sound isolation is very well done, no trouble having a good nights sleep. Hundreds of TV channels available, although few in English. Wi-fi accessible in the room.

The breakfast buffet is more than satisfactory, with a variety of cheese, cold meats, veg, cereal, sweet & savoury spreads, yoghurts and what have you. Hot food is also available (sausages, eggs). I do however believe, that it should be included in the price for the room (currently about 40 PLN extra). Haven't tried the restaurant itself yet.

The rooms could benefit from basic tea&coffee making facilities, as well as ironing stations.
Overall it is a very pleasant place to spend a few nights.

Only a 3 minute walk from Poznan airport, so if like me you flew in on business for just one day it is a great location.

Room was comfortable and well appointed. Plenty of TV channels to choose from, though not that many in English. Dinner was very enjoyable, breakfast was OK. Friendly staff.

Just one word of warning - there is no lift to the upper floors, and there are no bedrooms on the ground floor. So if you struggle with climbing stairs, this is not the hotel for you!

There is much to commend this hotel, but a few things which need to be improved. First: its location - this is a true airport hotel situated less than a 5 minute walk from the airport terminal, but yet wonderfully quiet inside. The bed was adequate, but not blessed with the sort of high end mattress you get in good chain hotels; similarly the pillows resembled cotton bags of foam pieces, rather than real pillows. The members of staff encountered were all polite and friendly. Breakfast was an additional charge to the room cost and was very disappointing - a typical Polish buffet affair, but with limited choice, dreadful juices (scarcely resembling in taste what they purported to be) and an almost total lack of fruit. The hotel also looks like a poor quality restaurant from the outside - you can see the words GRILL from the airport terminal building, but nothing suggesting that there is a hotel until you get very close indeed. If I needed to be at Poznan airport again, I'd stay here without hesitation (unless I'm too old to climb up stairs with my cases, that is, as there is no lift!), but would try to arrange to breakfast elsewhere.

Nice enough hotel adequate for one night stay close to the airport. Staff not happy that I stayed in bed until 12.30 - but placated when I mentioned tripadvisor. Nice size double bed, room avarage, bathroom average.

I needed a hotel close to the airport in Poznan to avoid trouble with the taxi (got cheated once after taking it in front of the Sheraton Hotel in Poznan!). To make it short -- it is an OK, if a bit on the pricey side, hotel to sleep the night. There's nothing around it, it is just an airport hotel, with a nice decor and really fantastic service. Food looked good too but I haven't had any meal there.
However, it is beyond my imagination not to have an elevator in the building that serves travelers and has 3 floors. I had to schlep my heavy suitcase up the winding stairs and down in the morning.
Also, the bathroom floor and my bed had foreign hair all over, yuck. And my room was really tiny --I asked for a single room, $80, and got double twin beds. Still, I slept good, got coffee in the morning (didn't eat their breakfast knowing I have time to kill at the airport). Breakfast there is an extra $10 I believe.

Room Tip: my room on the second floor was tiny and there is no elevator
