“Good hotel for a city trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2014

Was there for one night during New Year's Eve 2013/2014. It's not located in the city centre but the tram to the centre is very close to the hotel (about 5 minutes walk, the tram is just about 0,75 EUR, it takes about 15 minutes by tram to the centre). Rooms were clean, note very large but enough for two people. Beds were a little bit too soft but for some nights this shouldn't be a problem unless you have problems with the back. Black tea was available on the room for free. Didn't have breakfast. Staff was very nice. Parking is available for some charge but we decided to park on the street in the same block (about 5 minutes walking distance). Fortunately nothing happened. Can recommend this hotel for a city trip. Good value for the money.

Went for a New Year's Eve.
We were stunned by Wroclaw’s beauty but severely disappointed by this hotel.
Staff is friendly and nice but this hotel is in desperate need of a good manager.
The bed in our room was swinging. We had to change it.
Soap dispenser was leaking all the time on the wall and floor.
After “the big cleaning” it was still dirty but in stead all towels were missing.
There is a swimming pool but the showers cry for cleaning and repair.
No towels everywhere in so called "wellness area".
The fire alarm went on and 2 fire trucks came only to discover that the cleaning ladies have smoked in the basement.
The walls are made of cardboard. You're gonna be amused it if your neighbors have a normal sex life, but hate it if they're making up for all missed opportunities.
Overall: please go and visit Wroclaw but stay in different hotel.

The hotel has a pool, wi-fi in the rooms, air-conditioning, and it is located just 15-20 minutes from the centre. But there is nothing more that I can say is good about this hotel. Some of the staff are not very polite, breakfast is quite basic, the bathroom is just half a step from the bed (which by the way is not really comfortable to sleep in) and there are worms coming out of the shower plughole. The room has no iron and getting through to the reception over the phone takes quite a long time. The windows do not open and the view is not that good: the only thing you can see is a construction site. I think they need to work hard to keep the 3 stars they are advertising.

Outstandingly terrible.
I'll start with the pluses or to be precise one plus- clean room but I had to wait for the towels:)
Breakfast-average.
Now the minuses:
- if you want to be woken up at 6 am on a Saturday morning by loud music played in the hall
- should you wish to meet staff who can't deal with your requests (nothing extravagant really:)
- if you feel like doing some stair climbing (only one lift working at the time of my stay)
- if you wish to go up to your room and back to the reception because your key card can never open the door

..... that is the place to go to.

I was truly amazed by the lack of interest on the part of the hotel staff, inability to solve the most obvious problems and general disorganisation of the place.

I am sorry to say it but the name does not correspond with the standard offered by the place.

- except for the external form of the building /which maybe controversial/ there is nothing to pick on - Excellent room - the one i gotten was on top floor with big, huge panoramic view on the river and city - only that big panoramic window made me swoon and fall for it. Simple but modern furniture and spacious rooms make it great place for both - business or leisure travel. The lady who checked us in was very helpful and friendly and even offered some special deal for the breakfast - which was really - really delicious - contemporary and traditional polish food - all fresh and tasty and well in abundance. As an icing on the cake - there is a small gym, sauna and even a pool! what else do you expect from budget hotel? I would not change it for any overrated 5star hotel in old town - the staff was so friendly , very good location and free wirelss internet! I work in hospitality myself and can appreciate job well done!

Room Tip: ask for top floor room with panoramic window.

My husband and I stayed here Monday to Friday at the beginning of November. We arrived after 8pm and check in was fine. Our room number was 305. Got to the room and the key card wouldnt work so had to go back down to reception. Got into the room and there were no towels so rang reception and they said 10 minutes..waited half an hour and still no sign so we decided to go out into town. Got back after 11pm and still no towels. Asked receptionist who handed me one hand towel, shrugged and said thats all she had but a guy appeared and fetched up bath towels half an hour later. She was not apologetic or seemed bothered. On the hotel website, they state coffee and tea making facilities so you would expect tea/coffee/milk and sugar but they only provide tea and sugar and I had to ask the maid for extra as housekeeping didnt seem to replenish them..there was a kettle and cups.
The room was stuffy and none of the rooms have windows that open and you could only have the air con on heat..the lowest was 16 degrees. They also say there is a choice of rooms but that is also misleading as the only other room available is a suite with living area at an extra cost. All the other rooms are the same. Another misleading description was they say a pc is available in the room but it didnt work. We asked reception and she said none of the pcs work in the rooms.Cable TV only had 3 channels as well. Also you have to have the key card swiped every day which there was no mention of at reception so you can imagine how annoying it was until reception told us on the third day. We didnt try the breakfast at 29 zl but the Wild Bean Cafe next door did a Mcdonalds style breakfast bap and coffee for 9 zl..about £2
The location is ok, you have to get a tram 6 or 11 or a bus N or 128 and it takes about 15 mins to get to the centre. Our taxi driver was surprised we were out of the centre as he said there were much nicer hotels nearer to the centre.
I would not recommend this hotel for a short break, its probably ok for one night/business reasons.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel if you are on a short break

It a hotel at good price actually I was thinking it would be great value for the price but ...NO!
You can not adverise yourself for good price ,great value while indeed niothing is working fine in this hotel....let's start from the beginning : reception- 3 days waiting time to make an invoice and on last day of my trip I realised it is not tready and the staff didn't communicate at all between the shift so I had to explain everything from the beginning and arrived late to my meeting in the city...
Room- 1.air conditining..fake...not working,2 they adrertise that they have a computer in every room avaliable for guests..true ...but ...not working, 3 room servce..fake...nobody came to clean up the room on the next day of my stay there...,4hair dryier..fake...not working...so it would be nice to have a hotel with all this festures avaliable but you know what...they are all not working so...not reccomended unless you really want a cheap place to stay and you do not mind sleeping in really hot room with broken airco and non openable window....
